She knows more about football than any of us. I also don’t see people like Merson getting any level of hate, when it seems that English is his 3rd language

I agree that memes are funny, there would have different ones plug it had been a bloke because it was such a shit idea.

How that then morphs into people on here thinking they are just as knowledgable as her or not understanding that she gets paid the big bucks because of that knowledge and experience is classic WWAys. The fact people say she is not dressed properly or talks funny is just pathetic. The fact they are stuck in studio in Manchester is also shit.

That was the ITV studio in New York wasn't it?

And for people grumbling about the blackboard, I actually thought it was alright. A bit different seeing some on the fly tactical analysis rather than the scripted video montages.

Strange set up with all those cupboards around her led to inevitable jokes but I'd have her doing that over Micah Richards laughing about nothing for the 15 minute half time break

I think Emma Hayes is very good, she knows what she's talking about.

I'm not arsed that she's got a very thick Essex accent or that she's not the best looking, she knows her football stuff.
I'd have her on for every game before that rat Neville.

That depends on how you define and measure knowledge.

To suggest no one could do what she does because they don't know as much is bizarre.

Management and people skills are acquired through life experiences, as well as experience within a field.

Many people throughout society will have more experience of managing people than she has, whereas some will have been involved in the game longer.

Are those individuals to be discounted because they're not doing her job?

She is very good.

That debacle last night wasn't her fault- whatever producer thought it was a good idea is off their rocker.

It did her no favours whatsoever, and led to mass disdain.

Doesn't mean she can't be criticised though as it was all a bit dull, and some of the "technical" language was a bit cringeworthy.

Leave her to be a normal pundit rather that something off the Open University.

The subsequent memes have been funny though, and she'll be remembered for years to come.

At half time, when the debate started, he had been poor. Not the only one, and it was perfectly reasonable to be questioning him.

It's not the first time he has gone missing neither.

Nevertheless, in the second, they were all good and no complaints from anyone.

It's been a debate for weeks, which is what I was getting at

She will spend hours every day watching and studying football it is literally her job, why you have bought in other people in the game into when we are talking about people on here. But even other people in the game are unlikely to have her depth of knowledge at the level we are watching. She has the highest level of coaching badges.

You sound like one of those people who reckon they could fly a plane if the pilot had a problem, after all they have been on holiday before.

She's been coaching for 29 years!
I agree with you that she has a tremendous depth of knowledge.

just going back to this, it didn't help that ITV gave her a chalkboard in a kitchen

give her a digital touch screen in a studio

otherwise it's asking to be mocked

The initial post said others, and didn't specify where. Additionally, others in the nation will be of a similar ilk.

If course she works hard, and has achieved success on the back of it.

That doesn't mean others elsewhere couldn't do the same.

By your metric, those who have played the game and worked in it the longest must be the best.

You dont know how much "knowledge" she has accrued compared to others in and around the game.

Presumably Ryan Giggs, Gareth Barry etc will be the best managers because they have the most knowledge.

Clearly that isn't the case, because management isn't, in any way, purely down to knowledge of the game.

One Mourinho is a perfect example.

There will be plenty of sporting journalists around too with a hell of a lot of experience who may be perfectly capable of becoming a manager if they so choose.

Did anyone complain when Allardyce and Evatt got the gig here, given their limited success at lower league football?

No, and they were appointed because of what owners felt they could bring overall, and not purely because they were perceived to have more football knowledge than everyone else.

Any even longer crock of shit.

Keep twisting and making stupid comparisons and you will look more twisty and stupid.

People on here questioned why she was more knowledgable than them.

The rest of your post is word soup that is digging you a deeper hole.

Agreed. This is fucking ridiculous.
