Guest YW Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Long hard season with extra games, smaller squad than last season gonna be too much for us, Sam worked wonders but we're pushing our luck.

Totally agree. We have over acheived in the last couple of years and we all know it but with a possibility of 7 extra games in europe we are asking for trouble. We all know what happened to Ipswich and once you are down there its bloody difficult to both get out and attract any players of calibre. In Sam we trust. [-o<
Guest Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 I am panicing on the inside as I feel our squad is too small and waiting for reality to hit home! However on the outside I am telling everyone and myself that this year will be good because the players know each other already - no need for bedding in period - the players who left were finge players only and if relied on for a full season would have caused more problems anyway. In Sam I trust, I think
Widnes Two Hats Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 It may well be time for Vaz Te and Joey O'Brien to come of age But, the fitness programme at Bolton seems to prevent any serious injury... I'm not overly concerned.... there's been no great strengthening from any of our competitors and by that I exclude the big boys
Zozzy Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 Stop worrying about our squad and just think about the other teams for a minute, their finances, their managers and their squads. Sunderland, Wigan, Charlton, Fulham, West Brom, West Ham, Portsmouth, Brum etc. etc.How many of these set-ups would you seriously swap for ours? and we have had some great results against the 'top' teams in recent times. Don't Panic
