September 16, 200520 yr BWFC still do not have any tickets or know if they will be getting the extra 1000. The nice chap on the phone told me to give them a ring in the middle of next week if nothing has been announced.
September 16, 200520 yr I thought they were bringing at least the 910 tickets across with them on Wednesday? Seems a little odd all of this - or should I really be suprised with our history of tickets fu(k-ups. I know people will say its the Bulgarians, but its hard not to point the finger at our ticket office sometimes. Wait until next week and if nothing is announced ring up!! What type of response is that - they should be making annoucements regardless of updates, just to tell people what is happening. "the bulgarians have still not released tickets, we are speaking to Uefa about it, but this is the ticket distribution based on the number of tickets we receive - 910 = names, 1910 names"
September 16, 200520 yr Author Why don't Bolton print the tickets themselves? Seems simple to me. 3 weeks since the draw.
September 16, 200520 yr For once I don't think we can blame our ticket office, this has to be down to the Bulgars. I presume that we can't print the tickets here as they are probably only allowed to be produced by the home team, which is understandable. I't a joke that we might not know until 7 days before kick off
September 16, 200520 yr Author I don't see why there would be a problem with Bolton printing them. Plovdiv have caused the problems (So most people think) Bwfc would just be trying to speed things up. Can't see whats wrong with that.
September 16, 200520 yr I can see it now. Still no tickets two days before the game and despite saying people without tickets will be refused entry to Bulgaria, an announcement will be made saying it's all pay at the gate.
September 16, 200520 yr I can see it now. Still no tickets two days before the game and despite saying people without tickets will be refused entry to Bulgaria, an announcement will be made saying it's all pay at the gate. nice one owd man
September 16, 200520 yr I can see it now. Still no tickets two days before the game and despite saying people without tickets will be refused entry to Bulgaria, an announcement will be made saying it's all pay at the gate. Only if Danny Rueben can persuade the Bulgarian Government to change its laws!
September 16, 200520 yr Wait until next week and if nothing is announced ring up!! Have you got 2 days spare ?? takes em that long to answer the fookin fone
September 19, 200520 yr Author Still no tickets and they will only arrive Wed at the earliest. They have had "More than enough applications" Thats all they could tell me
September 19, 200520 yr well if theres no tickets til wednesday anybody off for the week on saturday or sunday isn't getting a ticket before they go can see it now 800 tickets through letterboxes in bolton with the occupants in sunny beach
September 19, 200520 yr Its a Fecking joke. The blame has to be put on Loko Plovdiv and no one else. They appear totally incompetant and couldn't organise a you know what in a brewery. Anyway the good news is Loko have sent their top man to deliver the tickets...at 10.00am this morning he was just crossing the Romanian border!!!!!!!!!!!
September 19, 200520 yr I can see the Wanderers printing and sending vouchers out and us having to exchange the voucher for tickets once we are over there. This is what Everton had to do for their game last week. They had to pick their tickets up at some hotel in Bucharest.
September 19, 200520 yr Just heard from my contact at the club. Not much more to go on: The club at present are planning everything around recieving 910 tickets only, until they hear otherwise re the 'promised' extra 1000 tickets. They hope to have the tickets tomorrow (how many they dont know) and will start to process applications then.
September 20, 200520 yr I expect to leave on wednesday without a ticket and return on friday with two in my letter box! As cas says there will be 800 (plus) fans without a ticket! Why dont they tell Plodiv not to bother with tickets, open the full end behind the goal and ask all Bolton fans to pay on the gate there, in that way we are all together, all inside the ground and one big target instead of little ones around the ground

Why dont they tell Plodiv not to bother with tickets, open the full end behind the goal and ask all Bolton fans to pay on the gate there, in that way we are all together, all inside the ground and one big target instead of little ones around the ground exactly - especially as looking at that video there will loads of space allocated to away fans. the only justification for non pay on the day is space, but realistically we're talking 3k tops travelling so just budget for that. I wonder if there's UEFA rules though that dont allow pay on the day???
September 20, 200520 yr just had a call back from ticket office (was about Wigin tickets actualy) but i did question Plod FC, no tickets have reached Bolton yet and their hands are tied, there really is nothing the club can do! I did inform him that in this case many will now look to pay on the gate over there to which all he could say was "well i hope it doesnt come to that"
September 20, 200520 yr Author The ticket office have said that no emergency plans are in place, incase the tickets do not arrive before people travel.
September 20, 200520 yr If there is a chance that tickets are going to sent out last minute, why don't they do as Utd do these days, and have a ticket pick up point over there? Just provide people with vouchers from here, and porvide them and a passport at the players hotel and a ticket gets into the hand.
BWFC still do not have any tickets or know if they will be getting the extra 1000.
