One of the London lot flying out of Varna with us got refused a place on the plane even though he had a valid ticket - he didnt appear on the passenger list. Presume he got it fettled the next day - their fault after all.

The day was quality. Although those who flew on the earlier flight may complain about fannying around with the Police in the centre of Bourgas in the morning. On each couch there was a Bulgarian tour guide who told you facts history etc about Bulgaria as country, its history, Bulgarian football and what vegetable was growing in the particular fields that we passed. Ok its not on the top of my list as part of an away game but at least TMG tried to provide a service. No problem drinking on the coaches so a few cans were purchased in the airport shop.

 

Had a ride to Nessebar for 2 hours mnore drinking, back on the coaches to the ground, then back to Nessebar for another 2 hours drinking.

 

At the airport more booze was consumed. The bar was a little shitty so we had a bottle of vodka from the duty free. Flew at 1.30 and landed at 3.30 ish

 

Well worth going if like me I could only do the day trip. I would imagine in a western european country the price will be alot cheaper than 300 notes

good old over booking..........they all do it especially with old style reservation systems............you can imagine my surprise when the tickets for the internal flights from sofia were at the airport and we had a seat both ways..............fly hemus air thats the future!!!

Depending on the location (obviously), I can see Happy Airlines doing a day trip along with a two day trip.

no - the one you're on about was another one who had fucked up - nowt to do with LW. With this one the problem came from the fact his dad has the same name (and went) and the airline assumed it was a double booking!

And there's a lesson for those of you (if any) planning on naming your child after yourself. 'Twas bad enough having the same initial as mother & father - having the same name would have been far worse.

 

 

Although I did hear of a rather wealthy family who gave ALL the children the same first name so that when it came to a divorce later on in life, they claimed that most of the assets being divvied up actually belonged to a sibling.

the official trip was excellent plenty of time for a drink b4 and after the game, but the next day i was goosed, 2 day trip minimum next time, i would prefer to travel day of match and stay over after the match.

wish i had gone travel club, could have had longer in bed, seeing as we went to bourgas centre for all of 2 minutes then had to wait at the airport for all your lot to come through.
