Nor did I know this little lad But given that one had fame, fortune, shagged 4 Miss Worlds, had Pele call him "the best footballer I ever saw" and lived to 59 only to finally succumb to a self-inflicted problem while the other had a murderously short life curtailed by the indignity of ending up as vulture shit, I know who I would feel the most sorry for. The one thing that links us all on here is that 100 years from now we'll all be dead. It's what happens - it's part of the deal. You can't whinge about it but you can hope to have a decent innings with a decent chance to make the best of whatever good cards fate has dealt you. And Best did that. Maybe he died somewhat before his time...well I think the lad above would have been happy to live that long. So while I take no particular pleasure in his going, I certainly dont give a shit about it.
