potentially our last game in europe ever ( please dont let it be [-o< ) , against a reasonably decent team with good players, cheap prices including a fiver for kids and all we can get is 9500. Even Big sam has said its one of his biggest games ever! I just hope we give a great performance and book our places in the next round and show all them muppets who dont show up what they missed.

Thats what fooks me off about the fans of this club. Moan like f??ck then dont turn up when it matters. Possibly our last ever euro game and a w??nk turn out. Same as the semi against villa, where were they, left us heavily outnumbered yet cried about the ticket allocation in the final.

in that particular carling cup run i went to walsall match, gillingham, southampton and villa and didnt get tickets. Fortunatley a mate of mine has a dad who had a few tickets and i got a few off him. Even went to tranmere away in fa cup ... vaz te bycicle kick with his first touch and almost scoring - pure quality, and nolan dragging us out of the poo once more

we have a good base of about 10,000 top flight fans IMO

 

our recent success doesn't seem to be increasing this

 

I count proper fans as those who go to all games (home or away)that they are able to go to,finances,work,family,location commitments permitting.

People, whether season ticket holders or not, have the right to pick & choose their games. Some can't make a midweek match for various reasons (work, distance etc.). It doesn't make them a disgrace. Perhaps it means they have a balanced perspective on life and the ability to make choices?

I can't afford to go to games on Saturdays unless I have an income.

I have to work on Wednesdays to provide this income I need, which means I can't go to the match tomorrow.
