SatanGreavsie Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I need more booze on this one - been far too sober up till now (Besiktas excepted maybe)
Exiled Girl Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 It's over a month away - plenty other things to get excited about before then.
Guest squidgy66 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 It's over a month away - plenty other things to get excited about before then. Exactly. I'm getting quite giddy about the Pompey away fixture

pike_mill_white Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 95% chance I'm not going to make it now A bit of business as reared is ugly head and I can't ignore it so look like I'm giving up my 100% record. Bollox. Pike Mill. Lives in Hope.

pike_mill_white Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 I know, going to try to sort this out, I have time but not looking good. Gutted to be honest - best game of the lot I reckon.
pike_mill_white Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Na, something I need to sort out, basically got offered a very good job, good enough to entice me out of self employment which obviously means I'm at the mercy of an employer in terms of leave etc....pro's and con's unfortunetly!
Traf Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Most employers will honour any holidays you've already booked prior to starting work with them. They might not pay you for those days, but unless you're in a really indispensable position, you should be OK. Just leave the instructions to the kettle where they can find them.
pike_mill_white Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Yeah, my rough thoughts as well. Can only try. My birthday is not a million miles away from the Froggy trip so may say my family have booked a suprise trip for me which would be rude to refuse!!!!!

My birthday is not a million miles away from the Froggy trip so may say my family have booked a suprise trip for me which would be rude to refuse!!!!! Don't invent stories would be my advice. Things have a habit of going pear-shaped when you lie. Just say, excuse me, but I've got a trip abroad already booked and paid for from 22nd Feb to 26th Feb, I'll need 3 days off after the 22nd and I'll be back in on the 28th. Or however your dates fall.
pike_mill_white Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Or however your dates fall. Nought wrong with my dates! Bit black and wrinkly though.
Smiley Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 I can see the BEN headline now..... The 100% club loses member shock! Pikes Mill, if you are worried about getting your comeuppance from Brixton, don't worry, he is willing to let it lie.
