I am approaching this player with a clean slate BECAUSE Big Sam has signed him with no obvious pedigree. So he must see something that he can work with. Give the lad a chance, how many unknown players have we signed and proved to be class? Taliban, Bergsson (he was 29!) etc etc. Playing with better players might inspire the lad to move up a level, just wait and see ......
