Bolton boss Sam Allardyce told the club's official website.

He added: "He has played most of his career in the lower leagues in Spain and will mainly get his chance in the reserves and potentially in the first team later this season.

doesn't exactly solve the current problems then.

maybe our back room wizards now have a hypnotist to try and make crap players think they are top class, failing that maybe uri geller, paul daniels and Ali fecking bongo have joined our back room team, thats magic.

he will not play a single game for bolton, mark my words!

panic buying at its best .

Utter ragging disgrace .

I work with a Spanish Guy who is originally from Cordoba. He tells me that Cordoba are an average team in an extremely poor league

(I didnt know but the Spanish League 2B is divided into 4 x regional mini leagues and the standard of football is alledgedly worse than that of our conference divisions)

He tells me that this guy has left Cordoba because he has not been able to break into the first team.

So anyone who thinks this guy will ever get a game for the Wanderers in the top flight of the premiership is slightly deluded!

If we are honest it seems like we have brought him in on (probably on??200-??300 a week pay as you play deal) as a ploy just to take everyones minds off the fact that the club havent spent a penny during the transfer window!

The headlines say 'Bolton sign Spanish Ace'

An insult to all bolton fans

the only thing I can think of is that Sam likes to have various depth in certain areas

defensive midfielders

we have campo, speed, faye and o'brien

o'brien has looked cack in that position, but faye could well be back for wigan and speed the end of feb

if the worst came to the worst we may need this bloke, but highly likely we won't - in which case, why splash out fees/wages on a player we may never play in the first time

also, could nobody please ever mention franck passi again

now he was ??tter w??nk

In all seriousness, I reckon WilliamBear would be a better bet than this Spanish Arse, sorry Ace.

At least William would put some bite into the midfield and he'd probably accept a small wage.

The fact that he's banned from all the grounds in England might prove to be a problem, though.

There are some excellent international players !

But why dont they scout the local clubs for signings and give some of the younger english lads some limelight.....

Instead of paying silly money, in the hope of a few miracle goals .......

now why doesn't sam think like you?

RMI or Raccy Boro must have a few good players - could save us a bob or two, especially as we could pay them in pasties.

I know a lad who plays for Radcliffe Boro - drinks in the Grapes

Scott Wilson

That's it lads. Thy's geet mi dander up. I am getting on to the BWFC chief scout down here to find out what the fcuk he's playing at. Surely he can find summat better than a 3rd Division dago. Having said that, last time we ended up with that famed Melbourne bank robbery getaway driver Mr. Con Boutsianos. Only ever played in the reserves, right?

Says a lot about the club signing this joker

I'd rather give one of the younger lads a place on the bench than sign someone from the spanish waiters league

There is more to this Perez signing than initially meets the eye.

A couple of years ago we loaned a Jap in a shameless marketing exercise: Akinori Nishizawa: a player who was never going to play for us at the top level, but the club were banking on loads of stuoid Japs buying shirts for ??40 a pop, numbers at ??6 a go and 50p a letter ie over ??50 a time.

Unfortunately this backfired and we're left with a load of letter Z's, an overstocking compounded by the non-arrival of Zizou Zidane.

I wonder if his agent is called craig :-k
