TODAY IS the last chance for season ticket holders to claim their seats for the forthcoming FA Cup 5th Round tie with West Ham United on Saturday 18 February 2006, 3.00pm kick off.

 

Tickets are on sale in the following order:

 

- Season Ticket Holders -Monday 6th February

 

- Members OR Lifeline Members - Sat 11th February

 

- Open Sale - Mon 13th February

 

Tickets will be priced at ??25 for Adults and ??10 for Concessions along the sides of the pitch.

 

Tickets behind the goals will be priced at ??20 for Adults and ??10 for concessions.

 

 

??25 and ??20!! What is the attendance going to be...easily less than 10,000 BWFC fans as we all go to Marseille home and away and give the WHU cup tie a miss???

Bolton must agree to it, therefore we should be able to offer the same discounts, but aren't. With 20% discount, my seat would be ??20 and I'd probably go, ??25 you can stick it up your arse!

BWFC have missed a trick here. Should have been everyone in for a fiver a la Grimsby a few years ago. Pay West Ham any dues for cutting the prices, but have a full ground and a good atmosphere. But would that be assuming they have a collective brain between them. Probably cost them more for the Africans plane than they would lose on this game.

I really don't understand all these arguments about cup prices. Until the 90s you didn't get a reduction on your season ticket and the price for cup games be they league or FA were exactly the same as Football League games. And that was the case when we were in the first division as well.

Now when you buy your season ticket you are quoted a price for paying in advance that lets you have so many games free. This is normal business policy where people pay in advance and allows the provider in this case BWFC to acquire interest on the money paid.

People make their choice. I agree with Casino when a lot of Bolton fans will tend to opt for a good old boozy session instead of the match.

 

I know it's not comparing like with like, but anyone who went to Pompey the other week will agree that their turnout, given their league position and the fact it was a freezing Wednesday evening was a credit to their fans. They really got behind the team and it had a real effect on both the way both Bolton and Pompey played resulting in them nicking a point.

 

I really think the way our support/attendances is going this season could lead to being a major factor in us not progressing in the cups and getting a UEFA spot again.

Got my Marseille home and away tickets, can afford to go to West Ham but refuse to allow myself to be ripped off or exploited.

With the FA Cup I think both clubs have to agree to a reduction in prices. Then why the fcuk have we agreed to reduce prices for them cockney cunts if it goes to a replay and not our own fans for the game at The Reebok? ragging dicks.
