Traf Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Frankfurt's red light district is in the sector direbtly facing the main frontage to the train station. Loads of bars, adult cinemas and knocking shops. Apart from that, it's not a bad place out of town and has a reasonable shopping centre.

Great boozers (Graf Zeppelin a good un - great place to wear Trafs tee shirt - and another good bar called Bar Johannisberg) and a bloody massive spa in the centre which offers some excellent massage and extras if you get my drift.

Good call Bolty. Clearly a well travelled man Traf. One of our factories is there so I am a regular visitor. Nice little base for the World Cup! Bad Homburg is great.

randy_west Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 The first thing of when I think of Frankfurt is porn..becasue of the amount of sex shops, etc. in the centre. Theres also a fair few bars, albeit ropey, around the porn area. There is another area called Romer which is still in the centre and only a short tube ride form the main station, where the more traditional beer houses are, and was probably the best place where we went, but we was only there a day (on the way to Munich when england won 5.1) . If your a fan of mock 'Irish' pubd theres an O'reillys on the edge of the red light opposite the main station. When I was in there I knocked a pint of Guiness all over a Wolves lad's white Island jumper - which went down well.

My heads not been right since.
