His finishing is what he is all about. He never will be the back to goal player that Davies is. If we want a 15 - 20 goal a season striker then he is the best around that we can afford...but will the adjusted line up that Sam has used to get Borgetti into the team over the last few weeks be allowed for a full season?

Its already been said, but the Borg needs service. If he's up front on his own then he's fucked. But if we can have a bit more imagination against the lower clubs, like we did against Charlton the man could be a very useful player.

Proven goal scorer more or less scores when he gets a chance in the box should be in the side. simple really

one of the main reasons for borgetti not playing much is the fact that he didnt have the physical strength up until quite recently to cope in the english premier league

big sam himself said hed never previously picked up a set of weights in mexico as he didnt need to until he came here

We need Ricky on one wing and David Lee on the other. Get the service in from the wings and the Bornginator will score at least 10 goals a season.
