September 3, 200619 yr Or even own golf clubs? I could never raise a TW football team to play the Allstars, but how about a Ryder Cup special? Bollocks. I meant 'gentlemen', of course.
September 3, 200619 yr i think a few may own baseball bats.... tis a good idea come on, for the honour of wanderersways
September 3, 200619 yr I don't know much about 'The Wanderer' messageboard because I never go on unless there is a link. I don't know why but I imagine the stereotype TW person to be a suit wearing office type who plays golf and chess at the weekend, and would be sh??t scared of playing football against the Allstars. I also think they would p??ss all over WWays at golf. Good luck on trying to get it arranged mr.crayons, I'll be at the 19th hole for the p??ss up at the end of the tourney if it comes off.
September 3, 200619 yr Author Apart from me, I don't think any of them would lay claim to being a 'serious' or even regular golfer. I think it would be a laugh if we could get it on.
September 4, 200619 yr ive got a putter and a nine iron. they are only taken out of the cupboard when hubby is away for the night and i feel the need for some protection. caught my lad sneakin one out to the fee to play golf last week and im shoutin after him ' make you sure you bring that home its for the burglars'. Got a few weird looks, but my lad knows what i mean. He wants to know when he will be old enough to have one at the side of his bed. Whilst thats quite amusing, its also a sad reflection of the times. And before you start, no- i dont let him randomly wander around with clubs and balls, he plays on a field with no windows/cars etc nearby and would be too scared of me to play it elsewhere. Who used to go on the GL golf links and collect balls??. ever manage to crack em open and unwind the huge lacky band ball inside??
September 4, 200619 yr Count 14 handicap Spider in. Although if anyone has a decent 7 iron for sale I'm interested - mine is currently wrapped round a birch tree at Carden Park in Cheshire.
September 4, 200619 yr Gentlemen only? Are you banning me from golf as well Crayons? I bet I could beat you with one hand.

September 4, 200619 yr Gentlemen only? Are you banning me from golf as well Crayons? I bet I could beat you with one hand. Tomorrow at dawn then. You choose your venue. And to make it fair, I'll play off championship tees, you play off red. I'll not bother betting you since we all know you are without honour.
September 4, 200619 yr Why you bothered Nat flower as your a bloke anyway aint you? Fight, Fight, Fight!!!
September 4, 200619 yr I'll caddie for Nat. I've heard she swings both ways .... I mean left and right handed
September 4, 200619 yr Author Gentlemen only? Are you banning me from golf as well Crayons? I bet I could beat you with one hand. No, sorry. 'Ladies' are welcome too. We might have one playing for us. Count 14 handicap Spider in. Although if anyone has a decent 7 iron for sale I'm interested - mine is currently wrapped round a birch tree at Carden Park in Cheshire. The best thing cost-wise and for your game would probably just to put a new shaft on the head of the one you gave the treatment to. If you get one with a different swing weight to the rest of your set then it'll do you no good. What make is it? Some companies are better than other when it comes to getting a direct replacement.
September 4, 200619 yr I wasn't kidding mate - it's still round the tree at Carden Park, and it can fcuk off if it thinks I'm going back for it after the shot it hit. I have Callaways, but it would be easier running through Tehran wrapped in the stars and stripes and not being bumfcuked than buying a single Callaway iron.

I'm missing the game Sat'day against Watford for a bi-annual golf weekend in North Wales with the lads. Can't wait.
September 4, 200619 yr Nice course Carden Park. I'm missing the game Sat'day against Watford for a bi-annual golf weekend in North Wales with the lads. Can't wait. I play the Nicklaus course pretty often - though the Cheshire is still the harder of the 2. If you do go - look on the 14th, about 250 yds from the tee, in the rough on the left. There's a Callaway 7 iron lying bruised and very broken nearby. And in the lake on the 8th, 2 Nike balls that just didn't have the legs.
September 4, 200619 yr Author Nice course Carden Park. I'm missing the game Sat'day against Watford for a bi-annual golf weekend in North Wales with the lads. Can't wait. North Wales is where I play - Northop G.C. It used to be Carden's sister course before De Vere sold it off actually. You playing Northop?
September 4, 200619 yr North Wales is where I play - Northop G.C. It used to be Carden's sister course before De Vere sold it off actually. You playing Northop? We're a fair bit further round - playing Morfa Nefyn, which is where we stay and always play. We're going to Porthmadog, which isn't a bad course and then we're playing Caernarfon, which I've never played before. Oh and we'll be in Abersoch in the evenings for perving reasons.
Or even own golf clubs?
