Injury Time?

Featured Replies

JUST A QUICK POINT AFTER ALL THE COMMENTS ON YESTERDAYS BAD PERFORMANCE I WOULD LIKE TO ASK WERE DID THE REF GET 4MINS INJURY TIME FROM??? AND WHY DID IT LAST FOR ABOUT 8 MINS?? LUCKY FOR US I KNOW BUT JUST A POINT :drinks:

That's what I thought, there were no stoppages, no goals and 3 substitutions. That's 2 mins added on in my book :yahoo:

PS Why are you shouting?

I can only assume for the yellow cards, however none of our players deserved theirs. $yellow cards with hardly a bad challenge in the game.

i aint just had caps lock on before my mistake :::::::lol:::::::

Maybe the 4th official had a feeling watford would score

It's the first time I have ever seen the injury time go in our favour. Usually when we are pushing for a winner they will put 2 minutes up. Or when we are 1-0 up and hanging on they will put 5 up. There shouldn't have been anywhere near 4 minutes added on but who's complaining? (accept Watford fans)

if the penalty was awarded within, or just in excess of the four minutes, i don't see the problem

must have taken two minutes from the foul until the restart

it was more like 98 mins when the penalty was awarded :drinks:

On a couple of occasions I noticed a Bolton player, possibly Gary Speed, pointing out that Watford were time wasting. Nothing too blatent but a few seconds at every dead ball. Even so I was surprised when 4 minutes were added, I'd expected 2 regular minutes + 1 for the time wasting.

Nice to see it go our way for a change, I still cringe at Blackburn's 98th minute equaliser at the reebok, when Souness ran into the Blackburn crowd. I think the ref had indicated 4 minutes on that occasion too.

The penalty was awarded 4mins and 5 seconds into injury time....FACT!!

trust me it was 4 mins and 5 seconds....I occasionally use my stopwatch and yesterday I did,so was monitoring the time in injury time.

guessing the 90+6 is when the penalty was scored, not awarded

As others have pointed out - how many times has this sort of shiyte happened to us? I reckon we are due a few more yet until the ledger is balanced. Personally, I was fooking ecstatic when they flashed to the Reebok to advise that Gary Speed was just about to take the penalty. My cartwheels around the front room at midnight were soon spoiled by that oddball weirdo Stuart Hall wittering on about Shakespearian dramas. What a tw@t that man is. Why the fook do they employ him?
