City Fans ''boycott'' Yesterday

Don't know if this has been mentioned already - can't be mithered scouring through posts - but they said on MOTD last night that the massives had boycotted the Reebok as prices were so steep.

Is this true, or have they just got a miserable following?

I haven't forgotten what a massive, enormous and huge club they are - lest we all forget.

Cheers.

apparently it is because they get victimised due to their massive support being a massive club.

Didnt think they did a very good job to boycott the game.

Ive seen worse followings than that.

They are unhappy at being charged ??36 at the Reebok compared with the ??27 Bolton fans were charged at Eastlands a mere 3 weeks ago

I can see their point if I'm perfectly honest and I wish more fans would vote with their feet

im not going to boro or arsenal

Can i call it a boycot?

Talk of some Evertonians boycotting the game at your place also.

The less theiving pikeys the better.

I notice even Stallone had got into the mersey vibe by lifting a free coat and scarf from the club shop yesterday.

Bet he wears that a lot from now on.

For some reason, Stallones appearance on the pitch made me feel a bit ill :bad:

robbing bar stewards. thats a disgrace. what annoys me is because of the greed of bwfc the fans we get punished as no one else in the country will charge us anything but top whack

It doesnt look good on BWFC at all.

they only thing that can change it, is talking with your feet and not going

Look at man citys decline in attendences, thery are regulary getting under 40k now

Wigan are just totally hitting the bottom with 14k circa

Blackburn are same as last season but is bound to drop year after year at circa 21/22k

Plus that particular game is on sky TV

im also aware that in a recent AGM? that the board said they would never go down the wigan/blackburn road in offereing cheap tickets regulary

we are clueless. i think it is only a matter of time before we are hitting the levels of 14k. fans will not travel to the reebok to pay ??39 to sit behind the goal and less and less bolton fans will head to the reebok. the future is looking dim

Its when Clubs like City, United, Liverpool, Everton and Newcastle struggle to fill your away end is when you know their is sumert wrong.

As it's a Category B game, they should be being charged ??32 for the South Upper.

Might be nice if we at least gave them the lower tier. We won't need it if the game is being televised. Would mean prices dropping to ??24.

Policing though will put the kibosh on that.

exactly. i remember my friend who is an everton season ticket holder always says to me why would anyone pay ??39 to site behind the goal. it is a ridiculous amount. we all moan about chelsea for charging ??46 but at least there you see some of the worlds great players.

ah oki doki

i was told it was a Cat A game, sure it was last season?

Why would policing put the kibosh on them having the lower tier?

charge them all ??20 to get in. thats pretty reasonable. better having 3000 at ??20 than 1000 at ??32

I wonder if people should get a discount if they sit near where Bolton's right-back plays.

Why would policing put the kibosh on them having the lower tier?

Having the away punters in the upper tier means much easier segregation for the police and club.

Obviously its not just Bolton, but more and more clubs are doing deals now.

Villa are offering a buy the next 2 home game tickets, and you get the next game after that free.

Charlton and Fulham, reduced tickets for our game to ??30.

We just missed the bout on Blackburn reducling theirs, we paid ??36, and took 6k on a tuesday night, 2 weeks later City paid ??32 as they all moaned, then still only took 3k!

I think that Everton should offer cheap tickets to away fans, as its a bit of a shit tip stand....not the point really, but only 1 Club has sold out that 2900 alolocation all season.....and that wasnt City, Villa, Bolton or Newcastle!
