East Stand Corner

Could not get my usual seat, so chose to sit with the singing section, i must applaud the lads in that corner, they stood throughout the match never stopped singing and pushing the team on, the policing and stewarding were first class, no-one was thrown out no-one was made too sit down, maybe the club have started to listen to the fans concerns regarding stewards, i will be sitting in that corner from now on.

there was a couple of shit songs granted, but i chose to forgive the lads in the corner as we were all guilty of crap songs when we were young, the passion and enthusiasm was there, thats what matters, from where i was sitting last night and from my usual seat 95% of bolton fans seem to have lost that passion, they will sing when it is going well but sit in deathly silence at all other times for me THAT IS SHITE, wake up support the, team or go curl up and die like the old farts you hated as a lad.

in my experience of sitting down there it depends on the game, atmosphere etc etc

you could stand up for 90 mins no probs against Utd or at a game like last night

wouldn't have happened on Sunday v Fulham though

Agree there Mounts - I dont usually go in the East Stand - particularly the scoreboard corner, but went there last night and havent enjoyed a game like that for a long time - best game and day/night out Ive had at the Reebok in a while.

it is the future, i would like too see more of the old boys gravitate into that area, the walkden lads would be a revelation in that corner as would Zozzy and the lads who stood with us at watford, we could teach the young uns a few old songs and finally get something going at the reebok.

It's never taken ten years to figure out where the singing is, has it?

swap your season ticket now, your club needs you. :good:

i was there last night, quality. Normally sit in the North Stand but me and my brother got tickets under the screen for the cup games as usual. great atmosphere and impressed with the stewarding, although they did tell a couple of scallys near me to sit down, but they were standing on their chairs

Talking about it today at work about moving, could do with a few more Walkden Whites down there though Mounts. :drinks:

Dead right! It'd be good if a few of the Old Skool came down and got some of the old songs going!Last night was a cracking atmosphere and lets hope it stays like that for the remainder of the season and we push the lads on to qualify for Europe!! =D>

Was in my usual seat last night, atmosphere around us was the best I can remember at the ground since it opened. Most sat around us said it had something to do with the moaning red ginger who normally sits behind me not being there  (although it was probably smething t do with it beinmg one f the best games there has been there.)

Oi! stop trying to poach the walkden lads from the owd skool own singing section behind the goals ::::::::lol::::::::

I enjoy a pint before the game and a good sing song during the match, but I sometimes feel like a 'banning order waiting to happen' because I get a bit excited in the ground.

If I was in the scoreboard section with all the police spotters focused there, I would be paranoid about losing my chance to go on next years European Tour.

The away games are different.

I enjoyed the Watford atmosphere with your boys Mounts :good: We never stopped singing.

I will never be an old fart

Best atmsophere for years in ESL

Doubt it was a "ploy" by the club to try and create an atmsophere. They haven't shown an interest before

More likely, "Mr Big Lover" aka Rod had the night off

Someone with a bit more sense/talent was probably have been in charge
