Sorry, but Thompson is fcuking rubbish, Horwich was pretty spot on. Not moving forward keeping a player like him. Giving all isn't enough in the top half of the Prem and Europe, quality needs to come with it

Thompson's only memorable moment in Bolton shirt was popping the balloon as Doyle took the Reading penalty.

 

The rest of his time on the pitch for us was very forgetable.

He was playing midfield and BWFC said they were gonna release him. He then ended up playing right back in the reserves and impressed them. He is now staying on.

Don't forget, the other players are retained on contract. They could still be sold ....

.... thinking particularly of Tal, Stelios, Campo.

Ben Haim probably won't re-sign.

And then rumours would add Anelka, Diouf, Nolan and/or Hunt (?) as possible leavers.
