June 29, 200719 yr I felt like that 3 yrs ago........go on the piss, go on every trip possible going with the lads.......throw yourself into your job. I get fucked off by the ex Lost my job and had to sell my house All at the same time. Now.....that was the best thing that ever happened to me...... June 29, 200719 yr F*ck me mate, that is a shitter!Get yourself out to the pub as soon as!Or get yourself down to Walkden Thai Boxing and i'll put you through your paces for an hour on the pads, you'll come out feeling nice and chilled after punching f*ck out of the bags!
June 29, 200719 yr As shite as it feels (and I can imagine that's pretty shite), there really is always someone worse off than you, kiddo. For example: I've just been shopping and wingeing to myself I couldn't find the right shoes, then bumps into a girl I went to school with. She's white as sheet, a hat on (obviously covering her bald head) and a giant plaster on her chest covering the area where I can only presume they've been pumping stuff into her. NB - just had a wake up call from being a shallow bint!
June 29, 200719 yr Chances are she'll be back. Its hard for a lot of women to adjust after having a kid. A lot go a bit funny or start doing strange things. Seen it a few times myself with friends. Trick is don't be a bastard, ring her up every couple of days. Ask how the young un is doing. Don't go trying to push her for answers to whats happened. All that will come out in good time. Just be a decent fella and be there for her and the kid when they need you, as they defo will in the v near future. Edited June 29, 200719 yr by jimmyjoojar

Jimmy's right Hughesy, try not to get bitter and twisted, there's every chance that the situation will sort itself out before long. Show an interest, but give her space for now.

June 29, 200719 yr Author THANKS TO YOU ALL id gathered that there is fook all i can do about it, just sit and wait. it was just the fact she did it out of the blue thats blown me away.
June 29, 200719 yr She's headfucked, she feels likes shit, thinks shes a moose and is generally on a downer. and its all your fault. Now to you and me we know thats bollocks, but wimmins brains are f?ckin wonky at the best of times. in the olden days she'd have been given a clout and told to stop feeling sorry for herself. she'll be back when she realises its expensive, both financially and emotionally to run a child on her own. unless you've been a c?nt and started shagging her fit mate coz your mauds tits have gone saggy with big blue viens streaking through them. jimmys advice is spot on. smiffs siciatrist

Couldn't agree more, the first 6 months after having a kid is really tough adjusting. She probably is feeling really scared about all this new responsibilty and how you are both going to cope and at the moment she feels safest with her mum and dad. Nothing to do with you, just be there for the both of them.
June 29, 200719 yr Perhaps the Baby Blue's have set in , be patient , bit of space, let her know your there for her and baby whatever !
