HuffyTheCampfireSlayer Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Well it would appear that Sheffield have lost their case, Did we expect anything different? Sheffield loses appeal
Traf Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 The outcome was inevitable, but unfair. I believe if the roles were reversed, West Ham would have been reinstated at Sheff Utd's expense.
no balls Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Trevor Brooking has lost his way. He is indeed, Mr. Fix-It!
Yossi Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Trevor Brooking has fixed it so that WHU win the Champions League next season. Disgusting
Mounts Kipper Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 The outcome was inevitable, but unfair. I believe if the roles were reversed, West Ham would have been reinstated at Sheff Utd's expense. I think exactly the same, the premier league are bent and for me this decision stinks.
Casino Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 i'm no legal eagle, but have sheff utd got grounds for further action? i believe the tribunal has stated that despite whu giving assurances that third party involvement had been removed prior to the final three games of the season - i'd have expected the FA to check if i'm honest rather than just taking the word of egghead - the tribunal find the new arrangements to be anything but 'watertight' now, my interpretation of this is that another offence, potentially more serious in that it was committed by the current ownership, may have been committed go fer it blades

Traf Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 I'd settle for anything above 16th this season. It'll be a season of transition and staying up with no money to spend in his first season as a manager will be a major achievement for LSL.

I think you'll be ok (was only pullin your leg about the drop) (honest) but are you not concerned that you might turn into a mini Liverpool (that hurt to say that word)
no balls Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 but are you not concerned that you might turn into a mini Liverpool No, no hablamos espa?ol!

Sign a player outside the window and play him. Would that be any worse than West Ham who have been found guilty of lying to the League and continuing to play an eligible player?

WHUJOHN11 Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Meant ineligible player. Pass its been dealt with son..we've taken the punishment and moved on ..i suggest you do the same and worry about it until it happens to your team...if it happens to your team! But one thing i will say is there have been plenty of "dodgey" goings on over the last few years..players being tapped 3rd party influences etc.....lets face it it all bent !!!
