Nugent is 22 years old. Helguson is 29 years old. There are VERY FEW 29 year old English forwards who ever get a look in.

I should of posted about helguson last night as my mate sent me a txt late on but id already fell asleep as i was knackered from playing squash! , sorry people, will do better next time!! I think he is a better player than what people make out and will do a very good job for us, i get the feeling that some people wont be happy unless we sign kaka or ronaldinho!! Also after reading this thread i think if there was a table for moaning fans we would win by a country ragging mile!!!

No need to apologise Tylswhite - you've done marvellous in keeping us updated as to what is happening.

 

As for moaning fans - well I can remember the fans moaning back in the days of Bill Ridding, Eddie Hopkinson and Freddy Hill some 40 years ago - so no change there then!

A good signing. Knows the ins and outs of the Premiership. He may not be prolific but he can do a good jiob for us, we are going to need depth with European matches etc.
