Holsworth did a good Jof for us after that miss against Villa at Wembly. Not a world beater but did a good Job!

37 goals in 97 appearances is not bad IMO

BOLTON have confirmed their interest in Swedish international Christian Wilhelmsson.

 

But Wanderers insist they will only sign the Nantes star on a 12-month loan before considering a permanent deal.

 

The club have rejected suggestions that Wilhelmsson has signed a three-year deal and that they will pay ?2m for the 26-year-old winger's services.

 

Bolton hope to conclude the deal in the next few days but are believed to have already suffered unexpected delays.

 

Wilhelmsson, who also had a loan spell with Italian club Roma last season, flew in for talks at the start of the week.

 

But the player's salary is believed to be a sticking point, along with the proposed loan option.

2) I find out our exciting new 2 million pound winger is really only a loan [ meaning if he's any good he'll get poached anyway ] and we have still not agreed it!

3) The egghead who's using West Ham as his plaything wants our best player and will bid silly money to get him

Its been confirmed on the official site that he will sign within the next 24 hours on a loan deal, with a view to a permanent deal at the end of his loan spell.

I for one is very please with this signing. It will make him work hard for a permanent deal, eg. Diouf and Faye.

If he turns out to be gash, there is nothing wasted apart from his wages.
