Don't think we will have a problem going forward this season as long as we keep the players we have. Still have concerns defensively, leaving opposing players far too much time on the ball and positional play is poor. On the whole, great result, clean sheet and another home game coming up to now build on it. Well played Bolton!! COME ON YOU WHITES

dannyc2 Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 played well against a very poor reading team.Nolan still looks out of his depth not sure if hes going to last in our new passing game. Diouf and the elk were different class. Jay Jay in the crowd too maybe were going to resign him

Clean sheet and three goals should give the lads a real confidence booster for Everton next week, which will be a tougher test than what Reading gave us today imo. COME ON YOU WHITES

Eddie Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Didn't think anybody had a bad game today. I thought Hunt had his 3rd good game out of 4 and this was his best. It was also good to hear the ESL singing his name. The midfield all worked hard. Alonso McCann and Speed all had very good games, Nolan looked good when he moved into the centre. The front 2 were different class, and if it wasn't for a bit of showboating towards the end then we could have had 5 or 6. Cid started a bit poorly but he looked better as the game moved on. To be fair Reading didn't really turn up but it was a lot better performance from us.
