then a bit later we find out whether we're home or away first

 

then, about 3 weeks later we find which town our opponents are staging the home game, is how i remember it

 

how long between the draw and finding who is at home first, and how is it decided?

I'm sure it's all been posted a billion times before but what time is the draw taking place please? I'm on nights and need to set my alarm so I can try and get the early cheap flights.

We found out the 5 teams about 9 o'clock

I think we knew as soon as the draw was made we were at home in the first leg.

I do believe George is right. The home and away bit was all part of the original draw a far as l can recall

If the club we draw has a stadium upto UEFA standards job's a good un. Otherwise, I don't know when the cut off date for an alternative venue is.

Then again, UEFA standards can't be that high as the female piss stones at Bourgas only had one sit down kharzi and in Marseille none at all. Bloody primitive bast?rds them Europeans!

How did it work last time. Was the announcement about Plovdiv's stadium being an unplayable shitehole made before, durng or after?

We didnt know where we were playing for a few days.Might even have been a couple of weeks.

Plovdiv had already played a Uefa match in Bourgas because their ground wasnt good enought but we were expecting to play in Sofia.The Sofia teams were all drawn at home in the 2nd leg though which meant there wasn't a big enough ground available in Sofia.

The fact that we were playing Plovdiv without a licensed ground simply added to that confusion and delay.

Home and away is done at the same time as the draw.

I'll be flying to Norn Iron on Fri morning. So totally oblivious to what time the draw is and who we could get on which dates, in which country.
