no balls Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 (edited) Just spoken to the ticket office who tell me they've had approx. 1000 forms in. They were unsure of how many names are on the applications, but if there's an average of 3......... Best get yer fingers out, girls! Edited October 17, 2007 by no balls

I see no proof that this panicking is necessary
Piemon Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 there where 7 names and tickets details on our form! i presume people travelling together have applied together on that basis i suspect some will miss out
YATESY Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 And if there's an average of 2? I see no proof that this panicking is necessary I would imagine most forms include many names. With all the panic and like - most forms will be maxed out with all the season ticket numbers possible.
peebles Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Only 4000 left on the Bayern website selling about a thousand a day. If you aren't a season ticket holder get on there now to avoid disappointment. The 3rd tier adjacent to the away end is going to be half and half I'd say.
forever white Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 All this worrying has got me at it. Ive just purchased a few tickets through their website. There certainly isnt 4000 left now so I would imagine it will be a sellout within a couple of days. Would it be conceivable that both Bolton and Bayern get together and arrange an overspill area next to the away end . Many fans seem to have got tickets in the blocks next to the away end. Bayern cant be stupid considering they are sending the tickets over here
revdishydave Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 how many applicants will have two tickets now? i forsee ebay etc having a few tickets next week
no balls Posted October 17, 2007 Author Posted October 17, 2007 how many applicants will have two tickets now? i forsee ebay etc having a few tickets next week Fairplay if you aren't a season ticket holder BUT anyone with a season ticket client ref & Macedonia ticket who bought one in the home should have their away end ticket confiscated and made to use their Munchen ticket (& sit on their hands with a dunces cap on for good measure).

As a non season ticket holder I am coverning my bases . If I do get an official ticket I shall be offering them at face value on here.

Big E Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 i had 9 on my order. i reckon most applications will easily have 3 on them as people normally buy for more than one person should be a big following
Smiffs Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Now call me a silly billy but when Fritz is putting the tickets in an envelope and the address is Mr Jones of 100 Bolton Road, Bolton, England, and hundreds of others similar, won't he think 'hmm, I senze ein grosse problem, ve are being invaded like ven vater invaded ze neighbourz'?
Bobcat Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 right imagine this scenario then... your not a season ticket holder.. but you have "acquired" at least 11 sets of details... do you think you could be stuck with tickets over in munich?
brixton Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 right imagine this scenario then... your not a season ticket holder.. but you have "acquired" at least 11 sets of details... do you think you could be stuck with tickets over in munich? You could swap them for face paint or a Campo wig!

Even if what you say is true nb, 200 of the forms will be f?cked up - and then lumped in with the open sale applications. :::::::::: Seriously, it looks like 5-6,000 fancy this trip.
scowie58 Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Think there are 21 applications on our form but a few of those have bought in bayern end
YATESY Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 There are a lot assuming here that Bayern will post out 100's of tickets to addresses in Bolton for seats in the home end. Even our unreliable ticket office will think twice about doing such a thing.

Bayern cant be stupid considering they are sending the tickets over here Block 339 is now completely sold out and i would imagine that it will be virtually full of BWFC supporters. Are we the first English club they've played at their new ground? If so, then it's probably the first time that they've experienced visiting supporters buying tickets in other areas of the ground.

But they have done. There are several people who've already received their tickets via courier. I think that Bayern are more concerned about selling tickets than who they're selling them to. There's nothing in the terms and conditions that prevents visiting supporters buying tickets in other areas of the ground.
