What the club needs, in my opinion, is a decent manager. My opinions will have zero impact on things.

i agree that you can't blame megson. it's a great move as far as he's concerned especially with his track record. but after losing big sam we seem to be a laughing stock. big sam took fans to places they had never been, a legacy of which is our UEFA campaign. post big sam it is the job of the board headed by mr gartside to try to consolidate where big sam left us. he took a chance with LSL and time was not on his, lees, side, he failed and was rightly let go.

 

but if gartside has any idea of the strength of feeling from genuine fans he won't take another gamble on a non entety like megson. i will remain loyal. my home town and my club chose me, i didn't choose it. so if megson comes it is certainly not with the fans blessing. he must know this and if he goes ahead regardless. on his head be it.

 

true we have punched above our weight for about 4 yrs, we ruffled some feathers and created some envious foes. but it will sickens me to the stomach if we revert to the yoyo club we were due to lack of ambition.

its blatently obvious that Gartside is gearing us up for relegation in the hope that Gary Megson will guide us straight back to the Prem the season after! Plus we get him on the cheap! (?300,00 comp) He is under no contract with Leicester as yet! (since resigned) Megson is a Championship League manager at best and not a Prem manager!
