I have just realesed that that bloody tournament which takes all our players is back on again in Jan/Feb. I know that there aren't as many as the past couple of years going, but with the amount of injuries occuring at the moment we could do without losing Diouf and Meite. They are key players at the mo!!

In your opinion yes it might be, but to say the entire tournament is a waste of time is just being ignorant. For the Africans, it's as important as the European Championships that England are so desperately trying to qualify for.

 

People do complain about it, buit eveybody knows that the tournament is every two years, if clubs don't like it, then they shouldn't sign Africans, simple as that

I think he can remain at the same club but wouldn't get a work permit if he were to move.

Agree with your sentiments except I believe the competition should be held every 4 years instead of evry 2 years along with most other international sporting competitions.

Are we only passionate about the Euopean cup because we do bog all in the world cup? Dont think so. People are always going to get passionale about playing other countries in their continent even if they have no chance of winning the world cup ... and rightly so.
