New Singing Stand - New Songs

We've got what we've been craving for. A singing stand. Now we all need some new songs apart from the good old 'We are the one and only Wanderers'. Lets also get some unique player songs going too.

Here's one to annoy the away contingent...

HE PLAYES ON THE LEFT

HE PLAYS ON THE RIIIIIIIIIGHT

THAT BOY EL-HADJI MAKES 'OPPOSITION' LOOK SHIIIITE!

Again, as Bolty has said some words differ, i.e.

I was born under the Lever End

I was born under the Lever End

Boots are made for kicking

And thats just what they will do

If you come under the Lever End

We'll kick fcuk out of you

I was born under the Lever End

Aye R. Them's the words I knew. When there were a few thou of us singing them, don't suppose anyone noticed the difference.

Kicking in the head

Any Man Utd fans surrender or your dead

i think any regional interpretation is acceptable

i was born under the lever end

i was born under the lever end

boots were made booting

knives were made to slash

i've never met a munich fan

i wouldn't like to glass

i was born under the lever end

Another version:

I was born under a Wanderers' Scarf

I was born under a Wanderers' Scarf

Knives are made for stabbing

Guns are made to shoot

If you come in the Lever End

We'll all put in the boot

I was walking down Bradshawgate yesterday

When I saw a Man U in my way

I kicked him in the head and I made him say

"BWFC - okay"

We are the Bolton

The Cock-o'-the-North

We all hate scousers and Munich of course

We only drink whisky and Newcastle Brown

The Bolton Boys are in town

If I had the wings of a sparrow

If I had the arse of a crow

I'd fly over <insert team> tomorrow

And sh?t on the bastards below

***************************

We don't carry hammers

We don't carry lead

We only carry hatchets to bury in your head

We are loyal supporters

Fanatics everyone

We all hate United

And Leeds and Leeds and Leeds <repeat this line to fade>

This classic reminds me of the build up to Wembley 89 vs Torquay:

We'll be walking round Wembley with our willies hanging out

We'll be walking round Wembley with our willies hanging out

We'll be walking round Wembley

Walking round Wembley

Walking round Wembley with our willies hanging out

Singing i've got a bigger one than you

I've got a bigger

I've got a bigger one than you

Some of the new songs suggested have been absolute cack. The old songs would technically be new songs as nobody sings them now.

Plus, they are actual football chants.

Correct! Some of the new ones show absolutely zero orginality

Very true. so lets get thinking of some. ive been trying to imagine a proper catchy and well known tune that hasn't already been adapted into a footy song, summat that will sound funny when a thousand lads are singing it - can add words later.

Here's a good un:

To the tune of Nelly the Elephant

Sam the Elephant packed his bags and fooked off up to Tyneside

Off he went with a trumpety trump

Big. Fat. red ginger.

Freddy Shepherd was calling far far away

He knew he was fat and a useless tw.at

And he'd drive the fans away

So

Sam the Elephant packed his bags and fooked off up to Tyneside

Off he went with a trumpety trump

Big. Fat. red ginger.

Non PC!!! FFS, not been on here too long then? You can stick your political correctness where the sun don't shine. No time for it.

As far as the scum are concerned, I detest their Argentina chants. I hate what that club has done to our game. At Old Trafford, I would respect the minutes silence if only for England hero Bobby Charlton who is still clearly affected by the disaster. At an England game at Wembley, I would show the maximum disrespect I could.

You mentioned two wrongs. It was obviously a warning that you were just about to spell the word 'tragedy' incorrectly twice in quick succession

Very well respected silence at the England game tonight.

I've read Sir Bobby's Autobiography, I know he suffers deeply. All though I'm not sure why it wouldn't be respected at an England game as England internationals died that evening.

It's not about being PC anyway, that wasn't my point. I?m not the most PC squire myself. It's about showing respect for people who died, regardless of who they played for at the time. Manchester United football club may have contributed heavily to the demise of our game, the people who died didn't. They were working class folk like the rest of us. Using Munich as a vehicle to vent frustration at Manchester Utd for what they have done since is wrong.

In my opinion.

(Thanks for pointing out the spelling mistakes, obviously private education did nothing for me) :pardon:

We'll have to disagree then. A witty lad off this site SMS'd me a joke earlier this week.

"What's the difference between a cow and a tragedy?"

"Scousers don't know how to milk a cow"

Now, Mr. working class folk with a private education, let's see if you can make the connection between this and your last post.

Funny, but not very PC is it.......

Two wrongs.

I don't think the best way to show one's honour of their country is to mock the tradegy of a club who doesn't. A tradegy in which some of England internationals died....

Apart from being non PC - It's a double negative.

seeing as your comments were directed at myself yesterday i will reply. i didn't want to get in a tit for tat with some privately educated chappy

for fearing of winning a spelling competition. but as you are still banging on about it 24hrs later one will reply.

one's honour for their country? take the plums out of your mouth.

i agree i don't think the best way to show one's honour of their country is to sing a song. i would have respected the minutes silence if its owt to do

with you as i do all through all of these silences, week after week.

i am fully versed in showing honour for the country. In fact in my own way I have shown my honour for my glorious country, if there is such a thing, by batoning heads in belfast and slotting ragheads in basra. not very pc talk either but i really dont give a fcuk.

god save the queen.

Apologies to appear as if banging on, however one works during the day......

I have full respect for any serviceman or woman and given your experience I should imagine you understand that code more than most. So getting back to the subject matter of this discussion, and to try & bring some closure to it, the Munich thing should be respected as a mark to the men that died, not the club they happened to play for at the time.

In my opinion.
