New Singing Stand - New Songs

We've got what we've been craving for. A singing stand. Now we all need some new songs apart from the good old 'We are the one and only Wanderers'. Lets also get some unique player songs going too.

Here's one to annoy the away contingent...

HE PLAYES ON THE LEFT

HE PLAYS ON THE RIIIIIIIIIGHT

THAT BOY EL-HADJI MAKES 'OPPOSITION' LOOK SHIIIITE!

Apologies for mixing the Munich posts on this thread - no more from me.....

As part of this whole generating atmosphere thing, what pubs in town are usually packed with fans on a match day these days??

As I live in Horwich it?s usually Greenwood / Scotts / Harvester for me, which as someone mentioned on one of these threads earlier, carries about as much atmosphere as the moon...

There?s something about bringing the atmosphere with you to the ground & I don?t think the pubs local to the Reebok do that?.

I remember doing a really slow rendition of ?When the Whites go marching in? in that Augustine Beer hall in Munich which was absolute quality

I once work with a Stockport fan, and he was at Burnden when that was sung and he said when the whole lever end started with the stabbing motion he said it was one of the most terrifying things he had ever seen :D

But the joy didn't last cos the b@stards ran too fast

thank god!!!!! :yahoo:

Twas in the year of ?58, the merry month of May

We all went down to Wembley to see the Wanderers play,

We played the Munich bastards and we beat them two to nil

Five to three the teams come out, we?re ready for the kill.

Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah........

Nathaniel Lofthouse is our king, the Bolton fans did roar,

And what did he do, he went right up and scored,

Not many minutes later, Gregg and Lofthouse met,

The goalie tumbled over the line, the ball was in the net.

Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah.......

When the game was over, into town we went,

In all the pubs and clubs til all our money spent,

A gang of lads came over and asked us who we were,

So we shouted Bolton! Fcuk off you Munich c'unts.

Nah, nah, nah, nah..........

Fighting broke out everywhere, in all the pubs and streets,

Down to Piccadilly and into Oxford Street,

We chased them down to Euston, and gave it to em good

On the train to Manchester , the Munichs said ?enough?

Nah, nah, nah, nah..........

What's the tune to this?

tune to any old iron...

ANDY O'BRIEN, JOEY O'BRIEN, ANY ANY ANY O'BRIEN

ANDY O'BRIEN, JOEY O'BRIEN, ANY ANY ANY O'BRIEN

ANDY O'BRIEN, JOEY O'BRIEN, ANY ANY ANY O'BRIEN

repeat to fade.

:good: Brilliant!!

adapted from Salford Reds:

I see the Nat Lofthouse stands arising

I see the wanderers are on the way

Don't go out tonight

Unless your blue and white

cos I see the Wanderers are on the way
