And where does it mention about Nigel Clough being a goalkeeper or playing more than one keeper? Spot on Mr Green and it was good to see you on the pitch at half time last night. If Gonk had bothered to read my post properly he would have understood that I was alluding to; at his stage of his career Walker would prefer to be playing first team football somewhere but maybe he is becoming like Nigel Clough was at City - that being a player who is getting towards the end of his career and would prefer to stay at his current club on a nice fat wage not playing any games rather than move for less money but at least playing a game. Maybe that was all over your head Gonk. If that was the case then please move onto other posts rather than making statements that, to use your language, "are utter shite"
Eddie Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 I thought his kicking was very good, he did 2 dodgy kicks from what I can remember but all the rest were straight and to somebody. As for the goal, IMO he had fcuk all chance of saving it.

Doctor Tongue Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Thought it was a decent goal, and it was in before Al Habsi had a chance to move, so I don't think it was his fault by any stretch. His kicking was much better than Jussi's. Knew you would come around to my way of thinking eventually!! Al Habsi - is our number one IMO. Didnt cack myself once when the ball (albeit on the very rare occasion) came high into our penalty box. Also - as has been said - his distribution was excellent - couple of errors granted - but on the whole a lot better.
