Wanderers fined over Madrid crowd trouble

Bolton Wanderers have been fined more than ?5,000 for the behaviour of their fans in the controversial Uefa Cup away game with Atl?tico Madrid.

 

The Spanish side have been fined three times as much - more than ?14,000 - for incidents in the last 16 second-leg clash in Spain on February 21, Uefa announced on their website this afternoon.

 

A statement reads: "Atl?tico were punished for the throwing of missiles and fireworks by spectators, crowd disturbances and insufficient organisation, while Bolton were fined for crowd disturbances. Both clubs may lodge appeals within three days of receipt of the grounds for the decision."

if the 5,000 who went chuck in a quid a piece that should cover it. we dont want the club going into debt do we, even though it was their stewards sending us into wrong turnstiles. or we could tell uefa to fcuk off and tell them we wont be entering their tournament next year as a protest :rofl:
