Anyone know cost of taxi from airport to centre ?

Featured Replies

its a distance say 30 to 40euro

A taxi rank is provided just outside the arrivals hall at Dublin Airport. Approximate fare to the city centre is ?25. However, there are charges for additional passengers / animals, and also if travelling between 8 pm and 8am or on Sundays / Public Holidays. Ask the taxi driver in advance if you have any questions.

Cheers pal

If you don't mind peasant travel, theres a bus every 12 minutes or something for 6euros from outside the airport.

Or simply ask the pilot to drop you off nearer to the city centre.

that's the best way to do it if you ain't much luggage, it drops you right by the spire.

these boys will get in there for half the price, but in twice the time

And minus one's luggage too I would expect.

The bus is actually quicker than a taxi.

Get the underground. It's cheap and it's clean.

Oh no, that's London . . . except the cheap and clean bit!

as mentioned above, best bet is 747 bus right outside terminal. every 10 minutes or so about 6 euros 20 mins to spire. And you get to watch an inspirational video about Dublin sightseeing.

If you want something a bit above peasant standard try these guys .....

The coach goes from right outside every 10 mins or so and is more comfortable than an bus. Plus it still uses the bus lanes and doesnt make any stops until you are in the city centre. Then it makes various stops, one of which will be near enough to were you are staying.

Cheers to you all for your input.

I am sure the guinness with a nice shamrock on the top will be flowing freely :drinks:

Get some stilts and run all the way there

Gaffa tape space hoppers to the end of them and you're laughin'.

Cheers to you all for your input.

It does actually taste the same minus the "nice shamrock on the top" you know.

Just saying like.
