Ipods

Before I click the checkout and pay option, there is a 80gb iPod for ?155 I'm very close to buying, unless of course someone can warn me off or recommend something superiopr for a similar price. So fire away...

...also I'll need to buy a laptop in order to put any music on the c?nt so if anyone knows anything about them too...budget is well abvout 2 grand but I'm b?ggered if I'm spending more than ?500 on one, no requirement for anything special, but it needs wireless (which I presume is standard nowadays) and ought to work at average speed, a slow one will be thrown through the window eventually.

Thanks flapwanglers

I'm no expert but... you can get the iPhone for ?169 which would be like an iPod but with touch screen and most likely better than your current phone (if your with o2).

o2 iphone on 18 month contract.

The player is good, but the rest of the package is a bagoshite.

I've had all sorts of bother with firmware and iTunes.

I've got a 80gb Archos mp3/mp4. Bigger than ipods but still fit in yer pocket and great for watching films on.

I watch my films on a 50" plasma telly. Maybe I'm old fasioned.

However, it wont fit in my pocket.

It might fit in a clowns pocket though.

You can get a 160GB Ipod for around 180/200 quid, and a decent enough laptop for 300-350

Hold your f?ckin horses here, 160Gb is big enough for about 40000 songs.

There have not been 40000 songs made ever.

Ever ever ever.

You could own every Shadows and Cliff Richard compilation, and still not fill it up.

Ive got a microsoft zune.

pretty good, 30gb.

thinking about goin back to an ipod though, itunes is alot easier to use than the zune software.

Can it play LP's?

Can it play 78's?

I have a jukebox program on my laptop and randomly play them. There is a lot of skipping of tracks as I do have some shite amongst them. Doubt very much that every track has been played.
