May 12, 200818 yr Couldn't believe they were just knocking it around at the back 2-0 down...very lucky they scored
May 13, 200818 yr feel very confident leeds will overturn the first leg and win the final. No chance, Leeds are poor. Carlisle have best home record in the division and will see them off.
May 15, 200818 yr No chance, Leeds are poor. Carlisle have best home record in the division and will see them off. Last minute goal 3-2 leeds

May 15, 200818 yr Well done i didnt see the 2nd leg but Carlisle sound like they bottled it from what ive read. leeds were the better team and deserved their win I wouldn't say Carlisle bottled it though
May 16, 200818 yr The referee from the first leg might be in for a bit of criticism. Four minutes of stoppage time was added and Leeds scored in the 96th minute. Lets hope Southend or Doncaster can stop them going up!
May 16, 200818 yr Is that like the fount of knowledge? 1) font and fount can both be used in the phrase you cite. 2) font had, and has, another life related to church settings, e.g as in "baptismal font", and was taken over from this Late Latin use of fons, fountain. 3) fount came to English through the Old French font, derived from the same Latin word. I assume someone else can explain the vowel change. hope this clears up any misunderstanding. Edited May 16, 200818 yr by Mounts Kipper
May 16, 200818 yr The referee from the first leg might be in for a bit of criticism. Four minutes of stoppage time was added and Leeds scored in the 96th minute. I understand there was a bit of a melee and a few substitutions in injury time which led to the extra 2 minutes. Regardless of the time added on you have to respect teams that keep going and get such late goals.

May 16, 200818 yr Not if they're Leeds you don't. Careful Magic, sounds like you could be 'going native'! I plead the Bruce Rioch defence - it is good for the city that I live in! I neither like nor dislike Leeds the team.
May 16, 200818 yr Author It won't make a difference to the city. I live in leeds and I don't dislike them but I want them to lose so I can take the piss.

May 16, 200818 yr Another good stat is the -15pts start. interestingly enough the table they print in their matchday program doesn't take the deduction into account there is also no page 15 in said program
2-0 to carlisle at Elland rd, oh dear.
