Might be worth a watch if it's as good as last years game. Cracking goal by Jonathon Wilkes.

Celebridees doing their bit for charidee?

No, ta. If the rich are so concerned, why not give some of their own money instead of asking the general public to part with theirs?

Not like you to have a whinge.

Who?

It was Robbie William's 'brain' child wasn't it? I'll leave it then thanks, on principle.

And yes, Traf, indeed, I agree on your point.

What 'point'? That celebrities should give to charity? What makes you think that they don't?

Not like you to have a whinge.

And totally unlike you to crticise my posts, you utter cock.

For what it's worth, it wasn't a whinge. It doesn't affect me.

I was merely stating that I'd have more inclination to be interested, if there was concrete evidence of "stars" donating hard cash rather than just a couple of hours of their time.

And the time they do donate is really just PR, isn't it? Therefore, one could even suggest that they would benefit financially from giving their time. Not that I'd suggest such a thing: folk might think I'm complaining again.

PS By folk, I mean halfwits like trotter58.

Ooooh, you 'ickle cynic!

BTW, this 'celebrity' mentioned, Jonathan Wilkes (famous for being friends with a c?ckend I think), when did he last 'star' in owt?

Talking of people who'll do anything for the PR, Old Walrus Face is on it now. He'd turn up to the opening of a crisp packet.

it's no bad thing that people are using their name/status to do some good; good luck to em

Danny Jones a Bolton fan, and having a decent game. More of a seventies music man myself.

Fair play to him, not many in our actual team would've been able to make that cross for Shearer then.

Oh yes, let's face it, professional singer/guitarists are much better at football than, er, footballers! How about saying something positive about OUR team?

i just watched it and on that performance i'd

have shearer and sheringham still. Think they would

of done more damage to andora than that lot did yesterday

Except even when he was still playing, Shearer wouldn't play for his country. The dirty traitor, string him up!

You could tell shearer has not played for a bit.

Would not cut it in the 3rd div now.FACT

I'm one of the most positive people on here when it comes to our team, i'm just giving credit to a Bolton lad playing well. Simply, there ain't that many of our players who i'd fancy to pick Shearer out from there.

Obviously he couldn't do it again if you gave him half an hour, but it was a genuine piece of class.

Great cross from Danny Jones for Shearer's goal :yahoo:

Nice to know he is a Bolton fan as well.
