One of the texts underneath says every ground in the country ought to invite the serving armed forces personnel to the ground. Damned right they should.

Tony kelly, can you sort it? Ta.

Brought a tear to my eye and a lump to my throat :good:

Do I sense at last our boys are beginning to get the sort of respect the yanks show for their boys?

You see thing like that should send a message to these "muslim

extremists" who think that one day we will be a Islamic state

that it will never happen in a million years.

Our forces :hi: :hi:

They could have done without that warbling bint as a backing track.

Whose idea was that?

Mick, think it was this years x factor final 12 cover version being played which is currently at no 1 with all proceeds going to the cause.

I have no problem with it (which is just about the only thing i dont have a problem with x factor)

Ah, fair enough then.

made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck,

would be a godd idea/p.r. for the club to invite our shoulders to the reebok,i dont think they'de get a reception like that.

thats why quite a few posters on here go watching rangers every now and then, that reception would only happen at ibrox.

I have never seen that many seats filled at the Reebok without a game of football being played . . . or 5 minutes before kick-off or final whistle. Respect indeed!

I know it's not a real sport but the WWE give free tickets to US military personnel for all their shows.

It'd be nice if BWFC did the same.

They also get preferential treatment at theme parks, cinemas and some restaurant chains.

Agree with you about it only happening at Ibrox Fester.

I reckon the powers that be at the majority of English clubs are too yellow to do anything like this that could be twisted by the Pc brigade as nationalistic.

There's a lot i don't like the yanks for,but their respect for their armed forces puts this shite hole of a country to shame.

Theres certainly enough seats! Shame nothing like that happens down here, would be deemed racist in this fucked up country.

Dowters fella is a Royal Marine Commando (well he will be in 6 weeks when he passes out) when they started their training in Exeter they were told by the local constabulary that the Exeter City 'firm' target the marines when they are in small numbers, they were advised to turn out in numbers and all stick together if it went off, and after they had tw@tted the 'firm' to let the 999 services know where to scrape them up from

Fcuk the useless tw@ts with that attitude. Beltin find that Jay. Brought a lump to my throat. No surprise that Rangers would lead the way in this.

Can't see that richard Norton chap allowing that many pairs of boots to walk on the turf. They'd have to walk around the track.

Even the dead soldiers get no respect.

Memorial theft shocks officials

the scrap merchant that paid for these wants lynching too.

In that kind of area the only shocking aspect of the story is the fact they left 5 panels behind.

the scrap merchant may well be innocent, the metal would have been melted down, before being weighed in.

supposed it depends who weighed them in, johnny smackrat would've taken them as they were, anyone with the knowledge would've melted em down
