I think in this case, public abuse of Megson is the most likely way to remove him from his job quickly. Gartside is desperate to keep him but if " Gary Megson you're a *anker" rings out from a good proportion of the crowd at league games then he will have to be sacked.A club can't operate in such a negative environment. That is a different point to the song on this thread which is a more mild way of showing disapproval.

Difference though between dropping league positions and dropping size of club, IMO i think Hull are (or soon will be) a bigger club than us. "I won't be approaching any differently to any other. I've had a little bit more media coverage because of my background and history with Bolton. Hull Website correct like he was at derby before going to hull as a no 2 and doing enough in their great escape season to warrant a full time crack at the job so perhaps wouldn't have been ideal to hand him the reins after alladyce as sammy lee proved
