Phill Brown.

This may have been done before but if we win or lose at hull on saturday how about singing a song along the lines of we are getting browny in the morning. From the we are getting married in the morning tune, it may just wind up the locals.

Give us the full lyrics then

It's a good song to sing to insult Megson and our club employees if they aren't earning their wages and are losing to the side which won the play offs.

If we are drawing or winning its not appropriate in my opinion.

Do you think he can join your West stand singing group?

I think thats stupid because even if we did get battered by Hull, Phil Brown still wouldnt be Bolton manager after Megson has been sacked

It may just be me but I don't think it is ever appropriate to air your negative views in a public arena.

Unless you wear eyeliner or have a spare cardboard box lying around!

I think in this case, public abuse of Megson is the most likely way to remove him from his job quickly.

Gartside is desperate to keep him but if " Gary Megson you're a *anker" rings out from a good proportion of the crowd at league games then he will have to be sacked.A club can't operate in such a negative environment.

That is a different point to the song on this thread which is a more mild way of showing disapproval.

I think it will make them mock us more, assuming they are already mocking us in victory

True but i think he deserves a few more games now after the City result.

Yep

The passion posse needs new recruits

Fancy being our cheerleader?

I'll have a go, but I reckon it'll look more like a haka! :D

Why?

It was said slightly tongue in cheek , before the city game many on here would have had megson hung. Its amazing what one win will do, one swallow does nt make a summer an all that, the guy shud have been sacked after the fulham game imo.

The old one "I'm a tiger, I'm a tiger ....." (with limp wrist) always works a treat when playing Hull

Phil Brown aint likely to "drop down" to manage Bolton.

Thats rubbish, many managers have dropped down from their current positions to manager teams. Take Harry 'twitcher' for instance.

Difference though between dropping league positions and dropping size of club, IMO i think Hull are (or soon will be) a bigger club than us.

Harry Went to a far bigger club albeit a lot lower down the league one

Hull will never be a bigger club while they have two rugby teams in their City.

I see he has said that he left Bolton because the Chairman would not offer him the job when BS left! Might have been another Sammy Lee though initially?

"I won't be approaching any differently to any other. I've had a little bit more media coverage because of my background and history with Bolton. But I've moved on and one of the main reasons for that is the chairman there wasn't going to promise me the opportunity to manage the club once Sam Allardyce had moved on." Hull Website

Still lives in bolton though. :good: As does Dowie. :bang:

correct

like he was at derby

before going to hull as a no 2 and doing enough in their great escape season to warrant a full time crack at the job

so perhaps wouldn't have been ideal to hand him the reins after alladyce

as sammy lee proved
