Plenty Of Positives

Won't be surprised if Blackburn tater us 3-0. I suspect the Bolton masses may turn on Muggo big time if it happens. Of course i'll be leading the chanting.

Are you being ironic or are you really just being a cock for the sake of being a cock? I hope for the former but presume it'll be the latter.

And I'm not sure WHAT you are talking about. Unless you are one of the smug nobbers on here who now likes to go on that Allardyce wasn't actually that good for BWFC and hint that criticising Megson is an example of an inferior intellect in some way. Not everyone who is not convinced by Megson is a 'Mugson idiot'.

We will get dicked by Blackburn. Yes I'm going and yes I'll get behind the team but that is how I feel.

Interesting post. I am an Allardyce fan. Best manager in my living memory and IMO a shame we don't still have him

If you'd care to check back over WWays history, you couldn't class me as a big fan of Gary Megson. I ain't one of the ones who has to resort to Smegson, Mugson etc. jibes either. He's here and we have to give him a chance. We put a good run together a few games back and, now the toughest games are over, I hope we can do it again. We have to give them chance FFS. Much as Gary Megson will be 'doing alright' if this happens, I am convinced he is not a long term proposition for BWFC.

Don't get all this negative shiyte about 'getting dicked by Blackburn'. You and your mate Mart aren't French surrender monkeys by any chance?

Come on you white men.

Blackburn will be fired up for it,and we'll send a team out happy to draw.Don't get me wrong i'd take a draw but going out ultra negative won't be the way to get it.

I think this is a more likely defeat than Man Utd was.It was a good time for us to play United after their games vs Chelsea and Wigan.

Awful time for us to go to Blackburn.

Megson was not one of the positives today. Let's see how many of these winnable games coming up we actually win. Let's see how we do against any side who are approaching anything like 'form'. Let's see in our next game how Megson does against the best manager we have ever had.

Yes, let's! You seem to be insulting Megson for things that haven't even happened yet. Which does seem rather harsh to me!

Plenty of positives from yesterday, Basham being the biggest, I, unlike many, was very pleased at his passing, he attemped the adventurous passes we've missed since Campo was playing well (so 2/3 years ago,) maybe not all found their man, but they were far more dangerous than simple 5 yard passes to the next man along the chain of midfielders.

Yes, cracking time to play Utd. Just after they have dicked their nearest title rival 3-0 and not conceded a goal in 9 games.

Its a good job we didn't get them during a purple patch.

Blackburn will be fired up for it maybe so,and we'll send a team out happy to draw Presumption? I'll take a guess that we will want to win. Don't get me wrong i'd take a draw but going out ultra negative won't be the way to get it you seem to be able to look into the future.

Awful time for us to go to Blackburn Bad time, possibly. Awful, not really.

Now Barry you know the rules 'NO' using facts to prove a point :pardon:

A lot of Basham's alleged poor passes were because no one was prepared to run onto forward passes - I felt some of them were good balls, shame the rest of the team weren't prepared / allowed to move forward.

The bug guy won a fair few headers early on, but when you play up front on your own, there isn't really much point winning them if there is no one to head it on to. To be fair can't judge him on just Saturday - lets see what he is like with a bit of service.

Bolty, I've read most of your posts and you come across as a top bloke and 100% Wanderer (and Englishman) I agree with everything you said above. I have just got a bad feeling about the Blackburn game, probably because it's Sam, that's all. I really hope we do go on a run now, I do not want Megson to fail, just don't think we are going forward under him.

Appearances can be deceptive, but he's Ok for an Aussie.

I agree 110% Bolty with that post. However, now is the time for Megson and the team to put a run of results together to pull away from the drop zone. If that doesn't happen I'm scared my patience with the Manager will break although if it does, I will not or ever boo or chant such things as what happend at Spurs earlier in the season. We have the team to be in a much better position than what we are and I don't think Megson will ever get us to where we have been in the past but for now, he is our manager, and will be until or should we get relegated so we just have to get on with it and back the team on the pitch, starting on Wednesday 28th!

Bolty, how can I agree with you so much on this site yet disagree with you every time on Banter ?

Because Banter is generally a case of being in 'wind up' mode. BWFC is my religion and is, therefore, treated very seriously.

It could, however, be a case of you being a commie, pinko, youghourt knitting, PC, apologist, unpatriotic ingrate but, I am prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt ;) :D

You must teach me how to do this. I find it always runs between the needles
