Plenty Of Positives

I have more fcukin pace than Obadeyi, he was on for what, 20 mins? He looked fcuked.

Now if he wasn't fully fit then why play him?

Shocking passing from quite a few today.

Basham looks promising.

i had it in my head Obadeyi was quick, how fookin wrong was aye.

basham was appalling to begin with improved with every passing minute.

his pass was terrible though, need to keep it simple.

bringing the frenchy on was a suicidal decision and goiing 3 at the back imo. though i think it actually was intended as an attacking sub to get 2 up front.

WHY WHY WHY did Megson bring on the big bald frenchman and then cause confusion in our defence - that was playing very well.

just seen their goal again on watchvideo.tk - and AOB and baldy went ro same ball

really didn't get that, we were defending fine, chucking another one in just made it too cramped as shown by no one knowing who is marking who, players falling over each other and next thing is a free header in the box

poor poor decision to change it like that, that late on

as for that new lad, really struggled to see what attribute he has been brought in for

it wasnt

-touch

-speed

-holding up play

-skill

not sure why you'd chuck him without training or knowing the team as it looks like he's not played in some time

v important run of games to come now though, still think we'll be alright - the successive home games against newcastle and west ham are the ones

Come on - Big Sam and Smegson alike both tried to shut up shop.

megson wanted a point and he had no intention of sticking 2 up front.

big frenchie caused confusion at back. Watch the goal. Its there for all to see

so davies and obladieda decided to both play up front of thier own accord??

So 5 across back 2 in midfield and two upfront is a bold attacking move from the ginger tosser.

Get real - Megson was shutting up shop and hanging on.

did we put 2 in goal?

Our biggest problem is goal scoring at home. We have only scored 8 all season at home and three were on the first day of the season, this has got to change we need to be more attacking, granted you can't go all out attack against scum but from now on this season we need to ATTACK.

Megson is too negative. If he could take 38 nil nils at the start of the season he would take that I guarantee it.

some people will never be happy..

time to pull together and as you say, winnable run of games to come..

I will be staggered if Megson comes back from Blackburn with 3 points.

Then we have Tottenham at home and Everton away....they are easy?

Gardener was shackled a bit today as he was central midfield.

Taylor didnt seem to get into the game.

Also Davies was well marked throughout by their "makeshift left back" Oshea

Once again i will say that the big lump upfront didnt get the juices flowing.

Not impressed by him orObediyi when he came on.

If we can see it the board must also see it from their lofty perch.

Taylor was flying at the start of the season, fitter and slimmer. Bobbed a couple of pounds on over Christmas?

He's never looked slimy to me.

Muamba is a bit special. Absolutely bossed the European Champions in midfield.

Basham i'm less convinced about. He's coped well under the circumstances, but i won't be shedding any tears when he's dropped for Nolan next Wednesday.

Megson was not one of the positives today. Let's see how many of these winnable games coming up we actually win. Let's see how we do against any side who are approaching anything like 'form'. Let's see in our next game how Megson does against the best manager we have ever had.

Won't be surprised if Blackburn tater us 3-0. I suspect the Bolton masses may turn on Muggo big time if it happens. Of course i'll be leading the chanting.

Really? All the positive support leading up to and in the early parts of the game? Commendable attitude young man. We need more like you.

For a while there, I thought you were one of the Mugson idiots.

For Allardyce

Islamic long grain?

Staggered? Considering our form is better away from home this season "staggered" is a poor choice of word. As for spurs, they lost at west Brom recently and have a poor away record so we are more than capable of getting three points against them. Everton will be tough but a point isn't out of the question.

Obadeyi looked decent last week, up front on his own. Not got a clue what he was doing out wide, other than proving he's not a wide player.

Ian Greaves has just died so I'm not sure who you're talking about?

What a pathetic post. Really, it does you no credit at all.

congratulations on writing someone off after seing them play against the world champions after being with the squad for about a day!

Ian Greaves has just died so I'm not sure who you're talking about?

And I'm not sure WHAT you are talking about. Unless you are one of the smug nobbers on here who now likes to go on that Allardyce wasn't actually that good for BWFC and hint that criticising Megson is an example of an inferior intellect in some way. Not everyone who is not convinced by Megson is a 'Mugson idiot'.

We will get dicked by Blackburn. Yes I'm going and yes I'll get behind the team but that is how I feel.

Stop being a twat for at least one day a year.

Hope Megson gives the same 3 in Central mid a run out against Blackburn providing of course Ricky is fit and we havent signed the central mid we clearly need. (Positive he won't)

Hope Megson leaves Davies out (Positive he won't)

Hope he doesnt play Cahill and OBrien together coz theyve shown throughout the season they cant cope with a physical front line (Positive he'll play them both)

Hope we win despite our managers complete lack of a pair( Positive we will)

Biggest positive of all is watching todays two games and realising just how shite the League is :drinks:
