HR Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 ""This news is unfortunate, because this is not true," Veloso told Sporting's official website." http://www.goal.com/en/news/724/premier-le...ter-city-bolton Or a ruse by bolton to hide the identity of their real target?
Tombwfc Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 (edited) He only said that the reports he was demanding to leave were untrue. Not reports that he's coming here, City or anywhere else. Not that theres any chance of this happening mind. Seems nailed on that this is a smokescreen/bad reporting and we're back in for Vucievic. Edited January 24, 2009 by Tombwfc
tylswhite Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Or a ruse by bolton to hide the identity of their real target? Somehow i dont think we are that clever
Guest Muzzle Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12876_4847967,00.html Says he isn't coming to either us or city...Veloso says " ......."This news is unfortunate, because this is not true," he told Sporting's official website. "The fact that what is written is not true makes me very sad because I started at Sporting, it was Sporting that created me and I just have to thank Sporting for everything they have done for me. "I believe it is an attempt at destabilisation, but both myself and the team are immune to this type of situation because we are only focused on the achievement of our objectives. "I am happy at the Alvalade and I will continue to work to help the team achieve what we want. I am committed."
Tipster Ste Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 More Reports today :- Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is offering a club record ?12 million for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso. A delegation of officials from Bolton have been in the Portuguese capital this week, according to reports in the Mirror, to negotiate a transfer for a player who has been the subject of interest from Everton and Manchester United in the past. Should Bolton be given permission to talk to the player they are convinced they will be able to bring him to the Reebok Stadium before the end of the month. Should they be successful the deal would represent a massive coup for Bolton who, after a difficult start to the season, have shown improving form of late. However, signing Veloso would still represent a remarkable move and would eclipse even their audacious signing of Nicolas Anelka.
