leigh white Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Wish it would have been Liverpool away this weekend, could have knicked all three points.
Burndens Bogs Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Wish it would have been Liverpool away this weekend, could have knicked all three points. So why can't we at Everton then? I quite fancy us now - after the lord mayors show an' all that.
exiledwhite2 Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 So why can't we at Everton then? I quite fancy us now - after the lord mayors show an' all that. Yep. They put in a hell of an effort there and their whole game is based on pressure and workrate. We could take them to the cleaners if we get at them early, and we often do that...
tylswhite Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Got a good chance of at leat at point now, Everton are on 37 points so its noy exactly vital for them. We need to take the game to them early.

Casino Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I take it the black armbands were for the 50th anniversary of the day music died either that or somebody burned their tea
Traf Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 The England Cricket team are wearing black armbands too, though.
Zico Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I take it the black armbands were for the 50th anniversary of the day music died didn't notice them at the start so presumed it was because Gerrard had gone off injured
Guest Biff Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 (edited) The black armbands were in memory of Phil Easton a sports presenter on local Merseyside Radio City who died recently. Strangely they did not have a minute's silence/applause before the game. Edited February 5, 2009 by Biff
