GARY Megson has backed Andy OBrien to emerge stronger after giving him a week off to forget his Fulham nightmare.

 

I gave Andy the week off just to clear his head and take a break mentally, Megson said.

He is a great lad who pushes himself to the absolute limit and it will be beneficial for him just to get away. I am sure he will be back stronger and hopefully the break will work for both him and ourselves.

 

Word it however suits Gary to keep face but in good old fashioned speak, AOB was dropped. He has been struggling for most of the season to reproduce his form of last season but the Fulham game he hit the depths of no return.

He might emerge stronger but not at Bolton - because if we are going to improve as a Premiership side, it needs better players.
