AOB had the touch of a rapist when he knocked it past Jussi, followed by the speed and awareness of a pregnant goldfish.

ive not watched replays but that was what pissed me off most

he was in front of johnson yet came a bad second and it was down to effort

Normally I would say that is a fair point but with the speed of Johnson v the "running" style of AOB, I was amazed the chase for the loose ball ended up such a close race.

Aye he could've made more of an effort to shield/block/shift Johnson out of his way

Totally lacked aggression

I suspect he caught a glimpse of Jussi careering towards him, panicked, and lost control of the situation

But all in all, he isn't making good enough decisions because he just isn't quite good enough

Not wishing to defend AOB in any way, but Jussi's position for the first goal didn't help. I am sure AOB wanted Jussi in his six-yard box for a simple back pass NOT two bloody yards away with Andy Johnson breathing down his neck. AOB's plan B should have been row Z though.

As for YW, the nice thought of AOB owing the fans because "they pay his wages" disappeared a long time ago. He owes the thanks for his wage to Sky.

just watched it

nowt wrong with jussis position

if obrien leaves it well alone it runs through to jussi

Not so simple IMO.

The way Jussi reacted - or didn't react to the goal, I am reading that there was no communication and Jussi realised he could have helped AOB out a little

As I say, AOB is to blame but Jussi was too close to him to allow AOB to consider the back pass option.

maybe he couldn't believe the big nosed fucker had got involved?

""Andy o Brian Andy o Brian, Andy,Andy,Andy o Brian, he looks neat on two left feet O Brian O Brian. Sung along to " Any Old Iron"

After watching it on Goal's on Sunday,i think i may have to agree,

holy smoke =D> wtf was he doing for that second goal,(i know i should'nt but  )

Maybe so but we had 3 chances of clearing that 2nd goal

Apart from Cahill, back 4 were all over the show

Who funds Sky?

Who funds Sky?

Not the under 16's in "scoreboard corner" that AOB applauded.

AOB was just awful, but the worst thing was McCann hitting that crap pass straight to a Fulham player for their 3rd - once he'd seen the Fulham player intercept it, he just strolled forward and made no attempt to try and rectify the situation.

AOB and Badger dropped for next week as a minimum.

Did anyone else think AOb marking AJ was a mis match i.e Aj was far quicker than Aob.

We should have put Cahill on AJ and AOB on Zamora

but then zamora and johnson would have swapped around to make us work

maybe 'super' kevin davies could have tried the same

Given that there's already a big thread about AOB, I've got no idea why you've started a new thread. Merging...

Bad day at the office - you moaners seem to enjoy us getting beat ;)

If you notice when Johnson gets his toe on the ball to put it in he had slid to get to it, if O'brien had slid he would of got it away but he just dangled his leg at it. The man is just shit end of, ive been saying it all season he needs to be out the team. He could have his own blunders dvd off this season alone.

Didn't see the other thread about Aob------sorry!!!

Came off at half time, took his shirt off & said he wasn't playing well enough & wanted to come off.

Megson sent him back out for the 2nd half.

Now not too sure how true this is, but it did come from someone at the club.

Discuss!!

I think there is already an ongoing thread discussing AOB pal.

can we not just make a clone of gary cahill and pay his wages?

Talking over a bad day at the office doesn't mean it's moaning or that we're enjoying it ......... might waken a lot of us up tho.

companies like gillette with their massive advertising budgets

subscriptions make up for not a lot of their revenue, relatively speaking

that's why you can always get a cheaper price just by offering to leave them

think ive heard this before.

And the bulk of their advertising revenue is done on a per subscriber basis ie if they lose a million viewers, their ad revenue decreases etc.

Take it a further level then, who buys Gillette?

Ultimately it's punters who pay players wages.

And the bulk of their advertising revenue is done on a per subscriber basis ie if they lose a million viewers, their ad revenue decreases etc.

Thus, why ITV are in a vicious ever declining circle of shite

They need advertising revenue to make good programmes, to attract more viewers, to attract more adverting, to increase revenues etc etc

In the current economic climate, advertising budgets are getting slashed and thus, ITV are generating less and less revenue, thus churning out shite TV, thus losing viewers, thus getting less revenue for the advertising that they are attracting etc etc

Good news for you day time TV dossers though :drinks:
