Trapped Nerve In Back ?

Featured Replies

Just for the record -

Extra strength Ibuprofen - which are 400mg tablets - are for adults and children over 12.

Ordinary 200mg Ibuprofen tablets are used for children under 12 (although adults could buy them and double up their dosage I suppose).

I assumed that fb was a little bit older than 12 - hence my remark about the need for 'extra strength' Ibuprofen.

The adult recommended dosage is 1200 - 1800mg daily in divided doses - ie one extra strength tablet, taken 3 times a day.

Obviously I'm very sorry that I tried to help someone out with their back pain - I won't do it again.

Please feel free to rip the piss out of me for once again making the mistake of trying to help someone out.

Too right - and to think you're a fellow Halliwell white ;)

How abou Sluffy puts a footnote like

If you're already dealing with stomach, intestinal, kidney or heart problems, talk to your doctor. People with other diseases such as diabetes, mellitus, lupus, asthma, epilepsy or Parkinson's should also talk to a doctor. And, as always talk to your doctor if you're on any other medications.

So then everyone's happy?

Except happy, who's never happy.

Oh, and YW.

Ever tried seeing a Doctor without tekkin half a day off work or being related, by mothers remarriage, to one?

Edited by boltondiver

Ever tried seeing a Doctor?

Yes, it's quite easy.

You ring up and book an appointment to see one later that day.

Ever tried seeing a Doctor?

Most days. My stepfather's one. :pardon:

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm?

Yes you do, I'm sorry.

I simply posted on this thread to help someone out - not to get involved in a war!

If people don't like the way I post, then I'm sorry for that - it's the only way I know how to post - but it must be clear to everybody (but one) - that I wasn't being some smug know it all arsehole - but someone genuinely trying to help!

And for my trouble I'm slagged off.

Yes, I did credited fb (or anyone else) with a bit of common-sense in that he/they would not take the Ibuprofen without reading what it says on the box first - but come on, this is common over the counter medication - not strychnine!

If some folk don't like me - then I'm sorry - I can't change how I am - but I've simply tried to help some one - why crucify me for that?

Never apologise for being sarcastic.

I would rather have parkinsons than alzheimers. I don't mind spilling my beer on the way back from the bar, but I don't want to forget where the f?cking Pub is :drinks:

Right boys and girls the last thing I wanted to do when first posting was to cause a full scale war and riot together with lots of falling out.

I don't know everything in the world but if I am stuck for advice on something I don't know from my 5 or so years on here, know that someone on here will point me in the right direction.

I am over 21 just and of decent common sense to know not to take risks with my health.

Thank you sluffy for your advice and very much appreciated pal.

For the record after the 25 year old blonde used her magic hands,I am feeling much better and apart from a little twinge on the mend. :drinks:

come on fruitbat don't try and creep out of it now, you knew what you were doing and it's all your fault

Now that the storm has subsided, can I ask. Was it a gerbil?

Yes you do, I'm sorry.
