we'd be in admin before the end of june

then we're fucked - because, as I say, we will go down er too long. That's not being pessimistic, its just pointing out that outside yer "big Four" how many are "guaranteed" to stay up and have never flirted with relegation? Villa is more or less it. So in the natural scheme of things will have cycles where we're in trouble - and not being the biggest or richest we'll be hard pressed to sort it out. We only did it by the skin of our teeth last year.

In many ways we're actually very much an established PL team eg if Boro and Newcastle go down then of the teams starting the PL next year, only 11 will have completed ten or more of its 17 seasons - and we'll be one of them. But as I say, I don't think gives you any immunity from relegation.

Now if the debt was dropping year on year then I could see the argument for staying in come what may at the expense of all else. But it doesn't seem to be.

relegation?

Well in a perfect world that is what everyone would do H but the simple fact is that BWFC is already totally reliant on the Sky money - it simply cannot pay its bills without it

No not a perfect world Sluffy the real world. Sooner or later you largest customer will turn you over and if you've pissed everyone else off you are totally fucked.

You are mixing up the football world which is pretty much a fantasy world and the real world in which most businesses operate.

I'm not saying you are wrong as far as the football world is concerned I am however advising Zozzy not to heed your advice in the real world. As I said I've seen too many businesses go bust because they couldn't upset their biggest customer only to find that customer go elsewhere/take extended credit/go bust themselves.

Fair enough H, but I still can't agree - well not totally anyway.

I own my own business and I do give all my clients value for money and treat them all honestly and fairly and unlike most in my line of business I don't rip people off.

I honestly believe my ethics have kept many of my regular customers during these hard times and I have seen several of my competitors go out of business.

I even had chance to take on a very big and lucrative contract a couple of years back, which would have quadrupled my workload - but turned it down so as to be in control of my business and not my business being controlled by the work of one contract (I was lucky that I could afford to turn the work down - many can't) - so I run my business very much as you are suggesting Zoz runs his - which I'm sure he knows how to do without anyone advising him.

Anyway the bit I disagree with is that if I had taken on the big contract and if I was reliant on its income to survive - then if I lost the contract I'd be fucked - so really I would have no choice but to keep it as long as I could until I could find new work to replace it and thus lessen my reliance on it. Until then if I lost some small contracts whilst pleasing the big customer, but keep my main client - and my business afloat - then that would have to be the price I paid for survival.

As alternatively I would have lost them anyway because if I lost the big client I would have gone bust and the other small clients I had would have to find someone else to do there work because I would have gone out of business!

The Premier Leagues money has badly distorted football as we know it - there is to much reliance on simply surviving in the Premier - and until the funding of it changes Bolton and others will carry on what they are having to do to survive.

I personally don't like Premiership football, and only stick with Bolton through thick and thin because they are my club and have been for well over 40 years - the quality of football and the tactical nous of our managers vary over the year but its the club I support not individuals.

that statement is factually incorrect

Like fuck it's incorrect, just because you fitted a welcome mat at some "palatial mansion" which belonged to a warburton family member means fuck all.

Those cunts sold us down the river, and for what, fuckin peanuts. I am so glad that they are no longer involved with the club, george warburton and his family, fuck em.

are you claiming because normid was built we had to leave the burnden site (im just asking cos im guessing this must be the path you're going down, as strange a concept as it is for me to grasp)

when you've answered that one, you might want to move on to tell us all when the warburtons last had real power at bwfc?

What's your problem with people with different opinions? His comments might be on the edge, but hey, welcome them and reflect upon them. Or is it fuck you wanker to anyone who doesn't conform to the Waco style brainwashed official line of WWays. ?

Bollocks, the figure was less than 100 grand, thanks to the fuckin warburton clan we no longer play in Bolton.

HorwichBolton, UK

I may be wrong but isn't Horwich part of Bolton?

It is good to read different opinions I agree. I welcome them and enjoy reading them

unless they get a bit silly.

I am glad the warburtons don't run the club anymore as well because Eddie Davies puts his money where his mouth is.

George Warburton's son Brett is Deputy Chairman and has put money into the Club as a shareholder. He has been on the board of directors for many years and a lifelong supporter of BWFC.

Tank Murdock, it is factually incorrect that we had to leave Burnden Park because of the Warburton family. They had no control of the finances at that time. The main reason that the new stadium was built was because of government grants available on the new build that weren't available for renovating Burnden.

The Chairman at the time was involved with building and construction, and had a big say in the location of Reebok, but that's another story.

TankM if you want to have a chat with me before the match today about which rooms I worked in at Mr.Warburton's house or any other BWFC issue I will be pleased to meet you. I am leaving right now, just ask anyone which one is zozzy, I go to every match home and away so a lot of fans know me.

This is one thing that really puzzles me. Is there anyone ITK who can explain to me why the clubs debt has increased by 20+ million in the last 2 years?

Did Eddie Davies put money in or did he just facilitate extra borrowings?

Astute business men rarely leave their personal finances exposed in deals, its always someone elses money. i would wager if the club went bust the club would carry the debt and the guys running it would not lose theirs. Cynical view but its one that usually ends up being the case when the administrator turns up.

I think a member of the family sitting on the board is a position of power....

or maybe not...

cuntholes anyway.
