Sad news but he's done fuck all for a decade now and crumbled into an absolute fruit loop. I couldn't personally see him coping with his comeback tour and that probably would of keeled him over if he hadn't done so already. Definately an allegorical artist an his influence will continue on in music, simply from his success in the late 20th century. I'm not judging whether or not he did actually fiddle with kids but it does seem a lot of people are hasty to instill guilty until proven innocent and vice-versa when it suits. It's a while ago now but I thought all charges were dropped, rather than him being found not guilty. If he was innocent, why pay 10's of millions to his alleged victim? Why not sue him for slander, libel and defamation of character? And what about the abuse his 'children' suffered? Towels on heads, being called blanket? These kids may now grow up in some semblence of normality. Michael Jackson produced some fantastic music. Some say Gary Glitter did too.
