Not to pleased about this one as I think he is too similar to our other strikers, but I suppose if he is cheap then it is another option and more depth.

The guy has ability, that's never been in doubt. He does look as though he enjoys a pie though, and I think that's his main problem. He's one of those players that's been around for years, and isn't anywhere near as old as people think he is. I think he's still only about 28 years old, I think he's already had about 8 or 9 clubs as well, which probably says something about his attitude, as he never seems to be anywhere longer than about 12 months

As with any signing, the wisdom of it depends what he costs - but from a footballing point of view I've no issue with it

Provided he was second of two strikers we bring in this summer, second in terms of quality of player rather than time frame I wouldn't have a problem with signing him. If he was the only striker we bring in, then I wouldn't be too happy.

Don't think he was matey. Highlighting the fact that just because a player gets abused by opposing fans during a game, it doesn't mean you wouldn't want him in your team.

I hope we go in for Tuncay only player who looked up to much for Boro against us at the Reebok. Granted he should of scored a couple but certainly don?t want Mido.
