Don't think Stiensson is that much better than Hunt ..............also what happens to JOB when he's fit ? not midfield surely to god.

if hunts wages rae to be believed you've not got a prayer of getting good money for a player whos 3rd choice and whose face clearly doesn't fit

We can only get something for him, if another club is willing to pay for him. As things stand, I don't see that another PL club will want him, so he would have to step down a division. As he is no doubt on over ?10K per week, then whoever signs him will porbbaly want him on a free, in order to cover the wages.

 

It's a bit sad, I don't think he is all that bad really, but clearly his card is marked, and he has no future at BWFC

Never thought of him as lazy, just sometimes very poor in terms of positioning.

Hunt's biggest problem is his attitude. The lad has talent and has shown before he can easily cut it in the Prem.

why doesn't allardyce take him ? when he was at bolton i seem to remember fat sam saying hunt was one of the best full backs in the prem.

Ever seen him play in the reserves? Thats when you see his attitude is wrong. No probs with his attitude/commitment whilst playing in the 1st team, he was just wank.

He definately thought higher of himself than most fans thought of him. Moreso, as stated, in reserve games where he often had the, "I'm a first team player, I know what I'm talking about." mentality.

When he needed to prove himself he had a great first season. Then he thought he had madeit and it went tits up from then on.

i never had a problem with him as a player, fitted into alladyce's teams v well and had a good long cross (punt) on him (diouf's goal v plovdiv springs to mind)

 

I also have no issue as his first goal against Liverpool a few years back, at odds of 33/1 netted me a tidy ?34

Seems to happen to a lot of young English players - they seem to think they've made it and have nothing left to learn.

In Hunt's case, IMHO, if he'd continued to improve his positional play he'd probably have made a more than decent Prem full-back. Sad.

I think its obvious that Megson dosent like him and his face just dont fit anymore . Shame really with him being a local lad and being at wanderers through out his youth and making his way through out the acadamy.Wether Ricketts is any better only time will tell! If Nicky does leave then good luck to him and hope it works out for him .

Wasn't he one of the players that went to Gartside and asked for Lee to be sacked? The other two (Speed and Nolan) have now gone as well.
