It was absolutely painful to watch when it was aired on saturday night.

 

All huff and puff with no sign of a goal.

 

In fact, very similar to most of Megsons games in charge.

on the plus side we were very soild on the minus we lacked pace and flair as per usual, I cannot understand why we do not change it after 70 minutes, surely someone with the club can run 100 metres in under 12 seconds.

dont think 1 player will do, get the old david lee problem (which was actually shown in the legend match) of him legging it down the wing and then crossing to an empty box as no one could keep up.

 

we dont actually have many SLOW players, just the average speed of players is much higher these days, so whats now a quick player is nigh on an olympic sprinter. and players who look slow, are actually pretty fookin quick.

that new korean lad will probably be pretty nippy

we dont actually have many SLOW players, just the average speed of players is much higher these days, so whats now a quick player is nigh on an olympic sprinter. and players who look slow, are actually pretty fookin quick.

But if they packed in their jobs as footballers and took jobs as lorry drivers they'd be quick compared to other lorry drivers if they had a race round the truckers cafe car park.

Observations from the hibs game:-

 

1. This season Zak Night will get mixed up with Jussi during close box crosses, this happened twice on Sat.

 

2. Elmander can only prod and not shoot, hes ok at sticking his foot out as the ball passes and also the same when trying to win the ball back. In short not much power and little confidence.

 

3. Matt Taylor seems confused about where he should be when new Davies is around...

 

4. How many Davies have we now? I make it four with Eddie.

 

5. Where is the double dragon? He has been all over Asia trying to get his papers signed, I thought he was quick? On Utube you cant tell which one he is (they all look the same!)

 

6. Where is Vaz te? Has he gone to get double dragon?

 

7. Hibs goalie handled outside the box twice

I thought Zat Knight looked solid. Won just about everything in the air and was more mobile than I expected him to be. Him and Jussi will sort it out, they just need a few games.

There is already more than one thread for this game, your thoughts don't warrant a new one.

 

Once the season starts it's one thread per game. The rest are going in the WW bin.
