Real Bolton fans wont ever enjoy a defeat, it is however getting harder and harder to defend another woeful performance like today,

I agree when people say performance isnt everything but surely just a little attacking flare now and again during a match would help the tedium.

I am no where near the "Megson out" stage, but i definately want to see an improvement from what i saw today.

That was awful today, change our style of play, you did that today Megson, were worse than last season and I didnt think that was possible.

Why change the defence? Its our attack that needs changing, a creative midfielder who can pass a ball and a pacy forward are what we need, Is it really that hard to see, Megsons had all pre season to get these type of players in and what does he do sign Paul fucking Robinson.

Only one Bolton player will be happy today that will be Jay lloyd Samuel, he has to start next week, Defence awful, midfield awful, strkers awful. and the place was empty,

Glad Tuesday game has been moved, or I fear what would of happened.

Worst player the pitch was robinson. Closely followed by davies.

Today was obviously not good enough, but some of the doom-mongerers will indeed have taken a perverse pleasure in today's display.

Truth is we dont have one player who can pass the ball & we find it impossible to hold on to it. Knight slotted in well today, all he did was hoof it up field or head it out of play (donkey)

I thought elmander worked hard and made himself 2good chances.

 

And we had 2 shots saved which could easily have been goals.

At least our defence is better than Evertons 0-3 at ht.

Robinson and McCann were cactus.

 

Where was Reckless Ricky, our only player with some pace and he's not in, I assume he's injured.

 

We can only improve after today.

Who bought the majority of the players? Even so the players were made to look shite because of the way they were told to play. They were much better last week when we played two wide men & looked very positive but Megson lost his bottle again ,pushed everyone back behind the ball & it is just not good enough. Bruce really showed the way today.

mccann on right midfield seemed a strange decision. why not mark davies? at least he can run with the ball. whats the point in bringing chung yong on if nobody is going to pass it to him? had one run and a stumble and nobody passed it to him after that. looked like he's willing to have a go, so let's give the ball a bit more. Way too much aimless long ball. I'm not too much concerned usually with long ball, as long as it creates chances, but half the time it went nowhere near anyone. Hopefully that was a one off, but we need to improve for hull.
