Mini 25. I used to work in a very popular pub when I had it & if cars could tell tales - well, they'd be Herbie or Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, but you know what I mean!

I begged my dad to get a Capri when I was younger. He got an Austin Princess and I never really forgave him. I blame him for my driving "issues"

 

He did have a cracking old escort some time before that and my mum had an old two-tone morris marina

I've got a "new" Mini but I used to have a "real" one, back in the day. What a shit car it was, I guess you are too young to have actually owned one. Water would come straight through the radiator grille onto the dissy cap and it would cut out until you opened it up for some WD40. The A panels and the subframes rotted for fun, there were literally millions of Minis made and not so many are left - because they were shit. Did I mention the exhaust fumes that came through and gassed you or the wiring loom that would come loose and short out?

never had a problem with mine, simple motoring at its best (when your young and no cash to spend on sommit decent)

I binned my "new Mini" off over a year ago when the power steering went on me whilst driving it in Manchester, then not long after being told I needed a new steering column.
